Good video. Been to Tuscon only once, in Spring '97, and the I-10, even then, needed work. I take it I-19 is the next video... Next time you're in Tucson, find time to visit the Pima Air Museum. Their collection of over 200 vintage aircraft-many sourced from the nearby Davis-Monthan AFB boneyard-is well worth a couple of hours. And the Old West? Tombstone's not that far away, and at the Tuscon Railroad Station? That's where Wyatt Earp shot Frank Stillwell after the murder of Wyatt's brother Morgan.

One proposed route for I-10 would have bypassed Tucson completely and followed US-70 out of Lordsburg, NM.

It's good seeing ADOT putting in work to improve the freeways. I only wish they properly renumber the mileage of certain highways like I-17. The Metric Interstate? I'm assuming you're talking about I-19 which uses the metric system in it's mileage (or kilometers).

Most signs are found by an east Google search and Wikimedia Commons. I use custom signs like mileage and exit signs from templates from exit signs found on Wikimedia Commons.

Hi, what are the traffic rules on driving on the right/passing on the left in the USA? In this video I see cars passing both left and right. In Europe you don't see it like that very much. Law enforcement is quite strict on driving on the right so most people follow the rule of driving on the right. Are there any diferences in laws between states? Or does it depend on type of freeway, number of lanes etc.?

El Paso TX. is the control city on I-10 east...I guess NM doesn't exist according to ADOT?? 🙂

ADOT does not say a thing about Las Cruces, NM existing all the way to the New Mexico border when the control city changes from El Paso to Las Cruces, courtesy of NMDOT. We'll see this trend in a few videos down the line..

What’s crazy to me is that Tucson and San Antonio both have a “I-10 El Paso” sign but are 12 hours apart. That has to be the farthest away two cities are in the US to share the same control city
