When I lived there, there was no 4 lane highway at all, from Scottsbluff to Torrington, Wyo. The country around Chadron is very nice with some pine forest, and hills, and bluffs, etc. You would never know you were in Nebraska!

Oh No! You should have went into Scottsbluff where I live! Much better than Torrington or Mitchell, Morrell, etc. Haha

If you pause the video at precisely 3:51. Zoom in towards the red building. You'll notice the road on the other side is black. This is rubber left behind from the Discovery Channel Street Outlaws. They filmed two different series of Street Outlaws here in three different locations around Scottsbluff and Gering from August into the beginning of October of 2020.

I was born in Omaha and lived in Kearney until I was 7. Then my family and I moved to Washington State. I never got to see Scottsbluff. It looks like an amazing place.

Each time i see a video of yours, Kyle, i know i have to watch it. The driving gives me some sort of peace, watching it. Watching the various scenes, going from suburban to mountainrange. Like it so much. Thank you for bringing us these videos and i certainly want to see more of them. Here in the Netherlands we call a place where 1400 people live not a town ("stad") but a village ("dorp"). We even have names for a place with only few people there (about 500): "gehucht" or "buurtschap". Those are places with no church in it. You drive through it in no time. Often under a minute with 50 km/h (about 30 miles/h). I'm living in a town where about 95.000 people live at the start of 2023. The fifth place in our province Noord Brabant. In the Netherlands we have 12 provinces so the town i live in doesn't belong to the big cities. Just to tell you something from the place where i live. Greets from the Netherlands

Crazy to think I was on my way to Yellowstone on US 26 about a year ago. The Western Panhandle of Nebraska was surprisingly scenic.
@InterstateKyle Жыл бұрын
It has the best scenery in the state in my opinion!

Good one as usual: and I'll echo the comments that the area is suprisingly scenic. I was expecting more endless flat prairie.

Love the brief tour of the Nebraska Panhandle. I know some may the see Great Plains as boring. But it has its charm- esp if you wanna get away from the Big Cities.

This feels just like the Riverina region of Victoria / NSW in Australia. Prime agricultural country 🤠

Have you ever visited Iowa? If not, that might be a good one to add to your list?
@InterstateKyle Жыл бұрын
I haven’t been there and I don’t see myself going to Iowa specifically to visit it. It would just be a state that I pass through to get somewhere else like Chicago or heading back west.
