I just got back from Vegas where I rented a 2024 Roadglide through Eagle Rider for 2 days. My wife and I road 824 miles. Las vegas to Oatman, to Williams, all through the south rim of the Grand Canyon and back to Vegas. It was a bit chilly as we had temps ranging from 57F down to 25F!! We are Canadian's so the cold wasn't too bad, but I can now say the first snow I saw this year was in Williams AZ Hahaha. I've met you guys and your wives at Harley homecoming 23 and 24. Thank you for all the great videos. They have inspired my wife and I to take the longer trips and enjoy all the beautiful destinations America has to offer. See you down the road!

Those Ships & their stories are AWSOME to here, That was our greatest Generation!!! Last year the wife & I took a road trip to Georga & South Carolina & we spent the day at USS Yorktown, there was a Destroyer USS Lafffey. That Laffy is one Hell of a boat (ship) the battels that she saw, got her ass kick, shook it off & went back to the fight, The History channel did a piece on her ( DOG FIGHTS) was amazing to watch I wish I was old enough to be there, & The Yorktown was massive a floating city. I'm sure the new ships are way bigger & way more comfortable but look at where they came from the closest ship to me is the USS Horrent & I've yet to visit her

This, as well as many of your other videos was very interesting. When I was serving in Vietnam our ship supplied the battleship USS New Jersey with all of the 2,000 lb 16 inchers they needed. At my young age back then fascinated me every time it pulled alongside to get reloaded. Seeing the USS Iowa and the interesting tour brought back many memories of the days of our amazing battleships. Actually, a bike event on the Navy ship is a pretty neat idea, I think. Thank you so much for the great video and interesting ship tour.

Would have loved to be there for those 16" guns firing. Thanks for the tour guys. I was muddy shoe Navy in the Seabees so I didn't serve on a ship. I always enjoy ship tours.

Same here! We thought they'd do the 16's but ended up doing the 5's. Unfortunately it sounds like the blast from the 16" gun would have shattered the windows of the neighboring cruise ships docked right beside the Iowa. Impressive either way! Thanks for tuning in and thank you for your service 🇺🇸

Great content very interesting history of the vessel and the guns (ex Royal Navy weapons mechanic ) i was on HMS Cardiff a type 42 Destroyer and we did a sail past (kind of ship to ship salute ) of the Iowa in the English Channel in July 1989 so not long after the tragic incident in turret 2 had happened .The Iowa spent the 4th July 1989 in Portsmouth England, home of the Royal Navy. i posted a pic of her sister ship the USS Wisconsin taken by me from HMS Cardiff in the northern Persian Gulf During Desert storm 91where we were part of a screening force with another 2 USN vessels , on your F b page 26th oct when you announced this event. got to meet some of the Wisconsins crew when they berthed in Abu DHabi U.A.E '91 and see the ship close up . Respect to the Iowas fallen and proud to have served alongside the USN ,Desert storm '91
