Ethan & Hila used to be my favorite creators on the platform a few years ago. I would watch & rewatch their videos and even engage in some podcasts when I liked the guest. They were never my favorite podcast source but they were my favorite peeps so it provided entertainment all the same. I even remember binging their videos when I had harder weeks than normal at a point in my life where some weeks were just hell. I was always so damn entertained and blessed by how nice, chill, down to earth and just "sane" they were in a world of Ricegums and Jake & Logan Pauls, etc... And now they're a f*cking disgrace. And I'm not the one who has changed, I'm still pretty much the same person I was, and still follow many creators of that time that have carried on being entertaining. But... Ethan & Hila just... "Fell". Slowly but surely they became harder and harder to tune into and watch, and then kept going in decline from there to people who are just straight up not the pleasant humorous down to earth couple that they used to be. Idk what it is that changed them, but it's sad to see it happen, and stung especially hard to see it happen to people I genuinely cared about & looked up to far more than just a cool channel to tune into.

I stopped watching H3 less then a year after Trisha left. I realized that Ethan and his entire team do the bare minimum when it comes to researching the topics discussed on the show. The lack of insight and/or truth with some pretty heavy topics was unprofessional and misinformation at it's best. They just found topics or videos from tik tok's "for you" pages and spewed bullshit for a few minutes before moving to something else. He used to get so angry at Trisha for "mocking" their Jewish heritage but not even 6 months later he went on a rant about black people and our experience. It made him sound pretentious, self-important and out of touch. Their clothing line takes hip-hop and urban fashion influences and smashes that style with pastel or bright colors but for some reason he acted as if it was an original concept, mastered by Hila and himself, yet he pretends to be "woke" and self-righteous, charging $800 for a Care Bears coat. You can be proud of your come up while still recognizing that you're not, nor ever have been "urban" just because you enjoy rap music and culture. Your parents gave you a good life but everybody wants a struggle these days so bad.. After recognizing that he profits off exploiting another group of people's culture, even though I would never see any black people around him or him be able to talk about our social issues without sounding biased or ill informed, he started to look like a hack to me. There were other things but I don't care enough to remember, I just wiped them clean from my chosen content to consume. Lastly, who tf beefs with JP?! The man is a genius with the most advanced techniques in conflict resolution and debate and you still can't have an adult exchange or difference in opinion. "If you have a problem everywhere you go, you are the problem going around everywhere." Ethan projects like a mf and he talks so much on so many platforms that he doesn't even remember what he says. It's that they are aware of it (on a deep level) and choose to ignore it in order to behave in abhorrent ways. At their core, bullying and malicious dishonesty are essentially evil behaviors. Ethan and Hila are two individuals that likely have subclinical Antisocial Personality Disorder. Meaning not strong or destructive enough to be outright seen as sociopaths necessarily. Yet they are aggravating and malevolent enough that many people can feel that there is something repellent about them and their behavior. They are classic schoolyard bullies, except they've grown physically (perhaps not mentally or morally) and have gained power and a platform. Yet their true nature bleeds out behind whatever dishonest facade they pretend to be. I write this as a clinical psych grad student that has worked with ASPD adult individuals and other Personality Disordered clients from childhood to adulthood. So after consuming enough of their content I (and the average person forsure) can glean a feel for how offputting they would feel socially. Anyways great video!

If you know anything about benzos or have dealt with them themselves - the withdrawals are brutal. Not just the acute ones - the chronic, post acute withdrawals. He only started crying like this after his benzo withdrawal. So they are making fun of a man going through a severe case of benzo withdrawals, which he began using to deal with his wife's fatal illness. Ethan is a terrible person.

Women want a confident man, not someone who is always talking about their feelings like Jonah Hill. Also Benzo withdrawl can kill you, same with alcohol. You will have seizures and become brain dead. This happened to a friend of mine. Benzos will kill you if you stop cold turkey and are a heavy user.
