U can’t just trust anyone just bc they seem nice, which is why he went to ask his dad.. even tho they just went in the coffee shop where his dad could still be close & see him. Kelvin’s parents taught him about safety, but at the same time they taught him to respect everyone & not to be judgemental of ppl. Not all children think about helping others like that. Of course we know it turned out good & a cool friendship was formed. His parents taught him to be a respectful, selfless, kind little boy ♥️

@@LuciaAIArt agree I used to work as a concierge at a wealthy condo in downtown Toronto. Most rich people are some of the worst humans imaginable. They are typically super obnoxious, snobby and spoiled. Whats also wild is the way they would talk about people, life and problem. I know it sounds weird but I could never envy them. It was obvious most of them felt a lack of meaning and purpose. They would complain to me about the most mundane things. I would often struggle to not roll my eyes at them. In the entire condo building there were only 3 normal people (1 girl and 2 guys) out of close to 800 people.

A friend of min worked in a bakery, behind the counter, and served the same man every morning. They developed a friendly customer based relationship and he found out that she was working to get the last of her tuition to go to university. He announced that he would be moving away and that he'd miss the morning chats, then handed her a cheque for $50K, to help get her through uni. People like that rock.

I was questioning my hope in humanity and then I saw this story .This story reminds me when Jesus told of the woman who gives her last , all that she had . What a particularly kind child. It shows the type of home he was brought up in. I wish them both God’s continued blessings . It’s also deeply moving to see a multi millionaire who worships and serves the Lord openly even in public places. Thank you for this beautiful uplifting story.

I am not proud to admit but recently I found my heart hardening to the homeless after some really awful experiences doing volunteer outreach. Calvin reminds me of how I should be. I keep praying that my heart doesn't harden. Thank you for sharing this good news story and to Calvin for being kind and willing to help.

As a social service worker I understand how someone can be hardened by the things we see and some of the people that we encounter.... however my mother taught me to ALWAYS do the right thing and God will sort out the rest. I hope that you allow the few that take advantage of the system to never allow your heart to suffer but only see how much you help those who truly need it

What a beautiful display of care and concern for another being. It's far too seldom these days to witness such courage of a youngster for the simple act of being kind to a stranger. And i tip my imaginary hat to you, Matt, for embracing Kelvin's kindness. Far too often i witness an action such as this being put down, shunned, or criticized which does nothing to reinforce being brave or kind. Rejection stings. @@Joce-bl7qi Sure. TV news stations are often seeking a Production Assistant. This is an entry level position. They do various jobs such as running the teleprompter, making sure the mics are placed on the talent properly, ensuring it’s quiet on the set. They usually wear an ear piece so the director can stay in contact with you at all times. Sometimes the anchors need hard copies of scripts and the PA will print those out. It’s definitely a great way to get your foot in the door. I’ve seen PA’s work their way up to Director. Many take the skills they’ve acquired and transition to film sets. Great question and I wish you good luck!

I am impressed by the young man's behaviour...not only was he kind to someone he thought needed it...but he remembered to ask his dad if it was ok to hang out with the guy AND remembered to ask for a coffee for his dad...he wasn't selfish anywhere. Looks like to me that dad has done right by his son and the man who befriended him wanted to encourage him...what a wonderful bond has been formed - you're right, it was divine intervention not an accident

Everything about this kid is so awesome. His charisma, personality, humor, everything. The obvious things-he had always wanted to help a homeless person and so had one dollar and wanted to give it to help. He asked his dad before the stranger man bought him breakfast. He got his dad a coffee. Some people are just born special. Obviously he was raised right! But he was clearly just born being amazing.
