One sentence: "How can I help" instead of blocking Joel, changed so many lives in a poverty stricken community. Imagine living on $60 a month. That is if you get lucky with finding work. Giving Joel a purpose by snapping pictures. Postage for mailing those first few pictures must have cost him a few meals. Several more meal to develop and enlarge those pictures. But he did it. With $500 he bought supplies for 5 schools. These kids barely have a pencil to write with. What a beautiful story of trust and faith!! There is still hope for humanity.

The minimum wage there is around 10 USD cents per hour. Just so you have an idea, if they worked 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, they would get around 16 USD at the end of the month (minimum wage). In contrast, the minimum wage in the US is 7.25$ per hour, which means, with the same worktime, you would get 1160 USD at the end of the month. I apologize if my wording sounds strange, i'm not a native English speaker

Daniel Sie I hate it when people give credit to God instead of the people actually making a change. According to the Bible god is omnipotent meaning that if he wanted to he could end all suffering. Instead millions starve including children and you come out and give credit to god. What a joke.
@keithriley65975 жыл бұрын
@TheMoistMango All blessings come from The Lord. God allows suffering, he doesn't cause it. All things serve God's purpose. Even the people actually doing the good deeds will tell you God is who you give thanks to. By the way, God's wrath WILL end all suffering when The Lord Jesus returns as King of Kings. So I'll be praying for you. I had a hard time understanding that myself when I was young. Both people involved being Christians is WHY they chose to help. This video actually proves God helped these people.

It’s the Grace of Joel, he deserves all the credit. God always steal the good stories and people get dammed for the bad things in life....For once.....can we give those specific people the credit for reminding us that choices we make are what define us morally and spiritually.

@@thenoicemango1827 The Bible says we are God and all true followers of Christ have the Holy Spirt within them. According to the New testament when you accept Christ in your heart you become a child of God. It is now your duty to do what the bible taught you. When we attribute good works to God it is to maintain humility as if we had nothing to do it with it. In a way we're still thanking these two and I'm sure the publicity reimbursed them plenty In this way we thank God, reality, or any higher power for letting us survive up to that point so we may pay it forward. Please remove the "hate" from your ❤. I hope you did not mean that. It's not that serious my friend . Peace and blessings to you.

Every time the government changes in my Country, the money will go missing and the new one has to started all over again. Until the mentally changes, Africa will still the same with greed presidents. How silly of you to support governments that made the world look down on us. People treat Africans poorly around the world because, our government don’t want to use their brain and work with our national resources. Do you know where the mineral that they made mobile phones comes from? CONGO. But the western world giving the rebels weapon to fight so they can get it cheaper. Why don’t we do like the ARABS with their Oils, if you want their products you have to do their ways. Unlike African president, once you give them little bribe here you go they forget the people. I have travel to 27 Countries in the world, and speak 5 languages and father had to leave my country to France for criticising the government of steal.
