KC was in SF back field they didn't have time to sit back, look then throw. KC stuffed them 2nd half! No Time to throw with them breaking SF line.

Why didnt they do more bunch sets or rub plays to free their receivers open? Why didnt call jet sweeps and wr screens for deebo? They kept treating him like a traditional receiver

Too many mistakes. Wasn't 2 weeks off enough time to prepare? Doesn't make sense to me how the 49ers weren't prepared for a lot of these blitz packages. I get it, Spags is good, but some of these plays by the Niner offense is inexcusable. What do they do at practice? How does Chris Jones, the ONE guy you have to always account for - go untouched on the last offensive play??

well the chiefs lead the nfl in unblocked pressures. so it's not just the 9ers. all in all the Chiefs blitzed 51% of the time and the OL gave up 15 pressures. 2 weeks before the Chiefs blitzed 43% of the time and got 16 pressures vs the Ravens vaunted OL. so they did alright in comparison to the rest of the league. and that 3rd and 4 in the 4th was a gimme 1st down to Aiyuk. As Brock admitted, he predetermined to throw it to Jauan vs cover 0 instead of reading it inside-out like he was supposed to. then as Spencer admitted, Jones was his guy on that cover 0, he had a brain fart. The pressure of the moment got to both players while Mahomes was cool under pressure and called the right protections the few times the 9ers blitzed. the 9ers defense generated 22 pressures vs the chiefs while rushing only 4 with Bosa getting 12 by himself (almost as many as the whole Chiefs defense), but no one is calling out Andy for not chipping more because the Chiefs won.

@@ronbintscatco No, Brock did what he was told to do on that play, first read is to Jennings. That route by Jennings is almost always a first ready for quick pass for a 3-5 yard bite for a first down.

outside of the 1st 3 carries (28 yards), the 9ers only had 82 yards on 28 carries vs the chiefs (that's 2.9 ypc). this wasn't like the 2020 super bowl where they were averaging 6.4 ypc.

why did they stop running the ball entirely the 2nd half? Can’t say these games aren’t rigged. Apparently the GOAT coach says let my newbie fling it? Wonder how much money he gets to head into every Superbowl as the favorite and then lose 🥱. Even the most basic coach could see it’s time to line up 2 TE, FB and smash the football with the best fucking RB in the league and conserve clock. This is a fireable offense.
