I've been looking at these for awhile. This one in particular. It's larger than I thought. When they introduced this line , was looking at the smkw Webb and they had a single blade coke bottle pattern. It sold in about a hour lol. Well done George!

Yep it's tough to buy that way. I am same, need to touch and feel.lol. I saw a friend's one and looked at it way back. Was impressed so bought one online. Now own a few(ok alot) more. Never been dissapointed. Might wanna try one that inexpensive they have many choices. Go on amazon and get it. Returns are easy. Thanks for watching always appreciated

I suppose -8F is -22°C- that is hurtful cold. We slowly creep up from 2^c to 4°C(Easy to remember-0°C is water freezing temp-about ;-) So some regions had black Ice today-we were spared, So-I can understand Merry being grumpy, being prevented from going outside be hateful temps ;-) The knife is a beauty ;-) I like the longer blade-I have a vic or two with longer blades ;-) Sometimes a longer blade comes in handy ;-) The blade seems quite sturdy as well-thicker than the usual ones ;-)

For a China made knife RR is fantastic in my opinion, cost friendly and sharp. Still people have a choice to buy whatever they like, spending $300 on a Spyderco knife to open packages with and show off a military style knife is fine. 😊

Hey George. It is a beautiful knife, but will rr 440a knife blades hold an edge. Perhaps you have enough experience with rr knives that you can answer this question for me. May pop in with another comment as I am still watching. ❤

RR use it alot. Personally I have no problems with it. I don't do alot of heavy cutting, except maybe when whittling a hard wood. Haven't really noticed it needing to be sharpened often. I tend to strop alt between sharpening anyway. So that my help. Be safe my friend
