Rough edges or not, I feel like it's something that will get better with time. Especially with Android version updates and hardware implementations such as Ultra Wide Band

Agreed, UWB will be a big improvement. Also I wish they would adopt Apple's on/off setting, If you want to enjoy finding your own device you should be required to help others. Maybe the first time I think Google went too far into privacy settings

Thanks for the update! Both were great videos. My Pixel Buds Pro and my Sony MX4 headphones both already register with the Android Find My network.

Yes the pixel puds do have problems. Mine doesn't show too but I have the first one. I thought that why. That's why I didn't get the pro. Won't get another pixel pubs until they fix their problems. I do like how they sound.

Announcements of Moto's trackers were released, and they feature Ultra Wide Band. I think that will be the one I get.

Pixel buds a series showing them at the last place I used them about an hour ago. Are the a series buds not getting the offline location tracking?

I got the Chipolo trackers last week. 15 minutes after coming home from the shop, it was showing my "wallet" as "nearby" but also with the map location of the shopping centre about 2 miles away. I will have to do more testing to figure out if it thought I was still at that location too, or if "nearby" uses just Bluetooth and ignores phone location, but I suspect it is the latter.

@@BBTechBreakdown the radius is quite large. I hope this is down to most devices not being on the network yet and will get better eventually.

I've heard that people have had better experience with Pebblebee trackers. I'm planning to order them and see how well my experience is.

I lost one of my pro buds last week and when I went to use te find their last location they don't even appear on the device list.

TY TY TY for instructions to remove devices using the webpage on a PC. I had a Pixel 4 stuck in devices and had tried every other tip and trick to remove it I could find on the Internet with no luck. This is the first time I've seen anything about using the Playstore webpage. Finally gone!

My Buds Pro also disappeared. I haven't tried to reset them yet. I also have a problem with them connecting to my phone when the case is closed while in my pocket. Draining the battery and if I'm playing something on a different device it'll switch to the buds Pro. Both are very recent issues though

Shane, question for you. I want to purchase the pebble but on its own website as you said its coming soon, however on amazon its in stock and to be shipped and its called Gen 2. Is this the same one you rewired or is it a Gen 3 aka coming soon on their website . Trying to figure out if its the same model version

I have no problem to see my Pixel Buds A location (I mean the map is showing the last position where they were connected to my phone). I use a Pixel 6 Pro that runs Android 15 Beta 4.

Watching this video with my Pixel Buds Pro. They have never shown location in the Find My app, and even right now when I just checked, with the buds in my ears and connected to my phone, it's not showing the location. My Sony earbuds, on the other hand, are showing my home location and that I connected to them yesterday.

I have pixel buds a and will usually show it's in the home 8 out of 10 times. Home devices have not located then. Funny my jlabs mini show better location then the pixel buds a.

Looks like Galaxy Buds are forced to use Samsung asmartfind only and not included. All my samsung phones (s20 Ultra/Fold 4) show up fine...even my old LG v30 is listed. Hopefully they add Galaxy buds too eventually.

I have an issue that the app is not displaying my Pixel Watch 2 location that is connected to the my Pixel 8 Pro. So, definitely, the network has flaws.

My Pixel Buds Pro seem to be working just fine. So, I guess they're not all affected by the problem you're seeing. I agree that this is a typical Google launch that takes forever and then still isn't ready when it finally happens. I'm cautiously optimistic that most of the issues will still get fixed. Nearby Share was an unreliable mess at first, now I use it to send multi-GB files between my phone and Chromebook all the time. It's fast and it never fails me.

@@DaveSteinberg I think if they were in the network they would have the "Find Nearby" Option if you are nearby. Also, I do remember articles mentioning they will eventually be supported but Androids website still doesn't have them listed as compatible with new network. It only has 3 other headphones (one sony and 2 JBL)

I've not looked into their trackers, but if they "don't work," but the Pebblebee ones I have clearly do, how is that Google's fault and not the fault of the company that made them?
