Jonas Simonsen It actually makes plenty of sense. When one becomes sick, they have auto immune responses and one is the lymph nodes in the throat inflame. It makes it hard for laryngeal movement and dehydrates the larynx which gives that scratchy feeling in the throat and the over all soreness when you get a bad cold. Ultimately, its not the brightest idea to sing while sick because it could be damaging if you don't know the fundamentals of the human voice. It could permanently alter the shape of the vocal folds and cause damage. When one is sick, mucus and swelling causes the folds not to vibrate properly as is. Its not to say that one can't sing while being sick, it just means that one has to have resounding skill to pull of singing while sick, and TBH, none of the girls in this group are that skilled. Going back to think, not many people in pop music are skilled enough to navigate passages while sick. And that is utterly saddening. I only can imagine the time when singers actually had reliable vocal coaches and had years and years of practice under their belt. Those days are long gone. Thankfully, youtube has clips of those great singers from the good old days. It just saddens me to think that fans are so blind to nominate this as a great performance. Not to say 2NE1 are terrible, they are indeed one of the best in K-pop as of this time, but ever since the 70s the standards on what it means to be a singer has dropped majorly and I'm just mad because I'm apart of a very ignorant generation (No offense to anyone though!!!!)

omg. CL at the end. so much emotions. now, i read a lot of comments why Dara should've had that soft part at the end. i don't necessarily disagree with it but i don't agree with it either. it's just that the way CL expresses this song -her song- is very emotional and top notch. i know Dara's forte is her soft voice but i doubt she can pull off the emotions, hurt and expressiveness as well as CL does.

CL and Bommie are so full of emotions, it brought me to tears. Minzy's voice is love and I really like Dara's parts too, it really suits her. Great performance, I've been loving all their perf of "If I were you" but I love this one in particular. I was shocked when I read in the comments that CL was sick, it doesn't seem to affect her rendition of the song at all.

Everytime I watch them perform this song live, I can really feel and see the emotion in CL. I don't know what it is, I know CL is a very strong charismatic performer who always converts her emotions on stage, but when it comes to this song.. It's a different type of feeling. You can see the anger, frustration, and sadness in her eyes and voice. It's like you can easily read her emotions. Whoever broke CL's heart should regret it. I feel like even though she has such a strong personality, she'd be the type of girl to easily let down her walls when it comes to loving someone. Hopefully, that person didn't take advantage of it to their fullest.

I love watching our 2NE1 girls performing this song a lot. Their voices are just perfectly showcased in this song. Maybe Dara doesn't have the power vocals of Bom, the perfect strength of Minzy's or CL's style in singing but her part perfectly show the lightness and sweetness of her voice. I guess we all know that she really wasn't born a singer but she wanted to sing so badly that she studied singing even at an early age. Dara doens't take singing lightly and she doesn't let just her mere looks be her role in the group. she works extra hard so she nails her part. For the others where everything may come naturally good. Dara works hard in effort. So I appreciate Dara's parts in song no matter how long or short it is. Her sweet voice make that part of the song memorable. But this song showcase all of them and even Dara isn't left behind. And I really like it best when they perform it live.

Everyone keeps saying that either Cl or Minzy will take over Park Bom's position as being the main vocalist due to the fact that both CL and Minzy got more lines. There are several reasons why YG chose Bom as the main vocalist, as a matter of fact, I'm not even gonna clarify WHY she has that position because she already proved it many times from the beginning whe she hit those REDICLOUS high notes of the songs: FIRE, IN THE CLUB, and IT HURTS! Park Bom needs sing high notes again as well as Dara needs to get more lines. Furthermore, Minzy has def the right to get a solo and CL needs to do what she does best! #BLACKJACK
