2pac is another level. Dead at 25 & his peers in their 50s still chasing his ghost. Pac's versatility & subject matter 2nd to none. Consider the fact he only made it a few months into his 25th year of life...Always the Goat.

I’m 65 years old and I’m still riding with Pac. I can actually visualize myself driving when it came over the radio that Pac had passed. I will never forget it. When he was alive, I remember telling my pre-teen daughter that I didn’t want her listening to his music and I was speaking about Dear Mama. The media’s portrayal of Pac had turned me against him and I just did not like him. When I took time to listen to his lyrics, I went to my now grown daughter and apologized for being so hard on her about Pac. I felt like dirt! Hector helped me to see Pac through his music. And I actually knew Black Panthers, but didn’t know that Pac was a Panther, and that Geronimo Pratt was his Godfather. That alone told me who Pac’s heart and spirit was. Born and raised a Panther, a Lion King. You’d have to know the Panthers to understand the mechanisms of why Pac is Pac. Thanks Hector for breaking down Pac and his music. And don’t stop doing this thing your way!

Keep your commentary coming on Pac. It's YOUR channel so be yourself. You appreciate good music simple as that. I do not mind the pausing at all. Because I guarantee you that most of the people including me that watch this are Pac fans and we know the song. So I'm here listening to your reaction. This is music I grew up on in the Golden age of hip hop. The times when we had to go to the music stores and get the the album in physical form CD, booklet with the credits on production etc.. Times has change with the internet but anyways I appreciate your comments coming from someone that really knows great classic music. 💯

Been waiting for this one! This is one of my favourite Pac songs and if you read between the lines you’ll realize that he actually wrote this for the next generation of black children to come. He only used the term “unborn” as a synecdoche. It’s chilling how many of Pac’s last songs were written from the perspective of him already being dead. He accepted he’d die a mytr before any of us knew better. “All I wanted was for you to have a better life than I did. Be an individual, work hard Study, get your mind sharp, trust nobody”

What I love about your reactions is that you really get it, and really appreciate every word and every line. It's so good, that you want to savor every last drop. It's kinda like when you are drinking a delicious drink, and you get to the end. You are slurping through the straw, making that sound where you are trying to suck every last drop. Or when you are eating a delicious meal, and you get to the end, and want to take in every last crumb and piece on the plate. And it's so good that you want to lick the plate. That's how good and deep Tupac is, and you get it. I fully understand the Hiroshima comment you said. Take you out of your world, and brings you into his.

In my top 5 Tupac tracks. The music is hypnotising, the singer is soothing and Tupac is casually taking us us on grim but beautiful journey. "Got Shot 5 times and I'm still breathing, living proof there's a God if you need a reason" is such a powerful and understated and line. Its a pre-cursor for his decision to immortalise himself beyond the flesh!! The last few bars and the way he flows it on the last verse are so flipping cold as well!!

Not only his lyrics, Pac’s music choices were always on point and just awesome. His choice of sound in his rap songs is unmatched. And he recorded this music back in the early 90s. UNTIL THE END OF TIME the album is especially special to me. It literally blew my mind when I first heard it. I'm old, so I lived Tupac's life and death. He died, and so much material was released afterwards. By the time UNTIL THE END OF TIME was released, so much had been released that I thought for sure this was going to be a weak album with the scraps of the scraps that remainded. I bought the album after watching the video to UNTIL THE END OF TIME the song. It sampled one of my favorite songs from high school, and it was so incredibly done that I figured I'd buy the album, even though I didn't have much expectations for the rest of the album. Just to have UNTIL THE END OF TIME the track was worth the price of admission for me. Then when I listened to the album, I could NOT believe how good it was. I literally listened to it exclusively for like 3 to 4 months. It's either my favorite Tupac album, or tied with ME AGAINST THE WORLD for my favorite album. I was never one of those people that thought Tupac was "still alive." This album was so good that for the first time I actually entertained the thought that he was still alive somewhere. It only lasted for like 10 minutes, but I was literally and earily thinking that may still be alive somewhere.

I’ve always said that 2Pac is not an ordinary person, to me he was a Prophet in his own way. Yes he’s not the traditional prophet like the others, but how can you explain someone that has died for decades but his spirit and influence still revolves around the world. He also knew he was going to die because the enemy didn’t want him to fulfill his mission; but I believe his mission was done on earth and God took him. Kids born everyday are discovering him all the time. 2 Pac came here on a mission and the enemy knew it, that’s why they had to take him out quick before he touched the world, but they couldn’t stop his influence and spirit. I don’t want religious people especially Christians to get offended, but 2Pac was like Jesus. When pac was born he lived amongst the poor just like Jesus, and he saw their suffering just like Jesus, and he wanted to help the poor just like Jesus. Jesus was betrayed by someone close (Judas ); 2Pac was also betrayal and set up by someone close and he got shot ( 5 shot ). Jesus knew he was not going to live for long so he did what he was sent to do which was to preach the word of God to people, organize them and prepare them for the future(heaven) 2Pac also knew he wasn’t going to live for long, so he set up to do what he needed to do which was to speak up for the poor, fight for their rights and organize them for the future. Jesus was crucified/killed(Hanged) ; 2Pac was also killed(shot). Jesus was a revolutionary and 2Pac was also a revolutionary. If 2Pac has not taken the “thug life” way of life which society sees as bad and did the traditional way of Prophesying just as the traditional men of God did, trust me he would have had cult following and even had his own form of religion; his spirit and power is Godly. 2Pac is the all time GOAT 🙌🏽🙏🏿

You was spot on with how u explained it bro...some off us come from that life and the outside world either doesnt know how bad it is or they know and dont give a fuck about us....wen i was growing up every day i went out with my homies i had to tell my mom (wen she was alive) and my close circle i love them allmost like a farewell because at any given moment you could get caught up in a driveby by rival hood, or some desperate crackhead could kill u for a fix and every tine u stepped foot out your door u had to learn to accept that might be ur last time leaving ur house, i have had to pick up a dead homie and carry them home to there grandparents house and put there lifeless body on couch and explain what had happened to there nanna and gramps....that life that 2pac takes you to with his poetry happens every day in a lot of american hoods its like we the forgotten people....with detroit we was home of motown, we was motorcity then we became forgotten and ended up being 1st major city to file for bankruptsy there was a legit lack of work it wasnt like we was just young dumb and lazy there wasnt anythinh for us to do and the only means of survival was to be out on the streets hustling.....wen u listen to 2pacs music he makes you feel that life in your heart and soul man and makes outsiders realise just how fucked up it is for a lot of us in the innercity communitys

Your reactions Bringing me back to when i first found 2pac Love it , and 2pac actually went to JAIL for being accused of Rape which he pleaded not Guilty and fought , He also shot 2 POLICE OFFICERS in the ghetto when he saw them beating the crap out some youth which got dropped as the police were drunk and had stolen weapons.

Im 1:02 minutes in. And I'm already liking what this guy has to say about 2pac. 2pac will not only never be matched by any other rappers. But even as an artist in general, his hard to compete with. Learn what this man achieved in his short 4 year career. Rember, he was locked up for 11 months. Hardest working man in the Game..

I can give you a whole list of 2pac songs that paint pictures of stories, about him and about others, but he tells it so perfectly that you relate to it. He was and still is the best ever for that reason, because he can make you relate to something that has nothing to do with you, or you know nothing of, simply with the way he tells the story, the words he uses... it's crazy!

I've always looked at this song as pac teaching past present and future the 1st verse he talks about his ancestry the 2nd where and what he deals with presently and the 3rd his warnings for the future and what he perceived

Bro I appreciate what you do. the people that don’t understand, is because they don’t understand who he truly was. they just hear lyrics. the gift that you have is you can see beneath the surface. GOD, BLESS bro🙏🏾

💋 Brain, 2Pac was sent to us for the purpose of pulling back the veil and exposing the truth. And sometimes the truth is hard to hear, for all of us. He is on a different level no one will ever touch him. It pains me to hear some of his lyrics knowing he's not with us physically. But he is still here spiritually and his legacy will never die. R.I.P

We don't need history lessons. Just listen to Tupac, and you will understand. Many soldiers go to war leaving an unborn child behind, never knowing if they will live to see them. Tupac's journey was no different. He was in a war, and he knew it. He just got to rap and educate the world about it. That's the only difference. And what a difference it has made in our understanding of such tragedies. Hail to the genius known as Tupac. Keep it coming Mark. I'm sure that 'Pac is looking down from the heavens smiling upon you.
