Sylvaneth are AOS Tyranids with souls.. Think about it, they have a queen, she's constantly telling them what to do, they constantly hear her, she constantly hears them/knows everything they know... it's a hive/hive mind... they just are given a slight bit of thought whereas the tyranids are just stupid bugs without a thought in their head.

The Alarielle model is definitely a center piece. Personally I'd get it last after your army is done so your painting skill is at it's best when you get to it.

I actually got this model from a friend in a trade, he got a bunch of Sylvaneth stuff for really cheap and she was in the box. That was like 2 years ago and I still haven't built up the courage to paint her.

I wish to know if the sylvaneth weapons are made of metal or wood. They have a metal aparence, but to me it make no sence that the sylvaneth have any metal.

It can be both. Sylvaneth can draw metal forth from the ground without damaging nature. But some weapons are grown from plants. In the Realm of Metal this will often be the same process.

They are not very dissimilar in what they represent, but Isha is in a cage w/ Nurgle while alarielle Roams free
