I love your tagline..."Remember work shouldn't hurt." ❣

Thank you so much for this video; I needed it. I am currently being bullied by my director and VP of surgical service. It was so bad I stopped my college education for 2 months. Regaining perspective is so vital in the workforce. My boss told me she does not know how I am attending college because I can't properly communicate. I now know that the behavior displayed is narcissistic by reading a book on Dark Psychology. This podcast confirms my thoughts.

Fantastic episode. So many great points and I have seen similar in my research on toxic leaders. I really liked the piece on how HR are unfortunately having to be toxin handlers. I appreciated the optimism at the end, I feel the same Teresa! There is hope for better workplaces in the future. Thank you!

This is a very helpful conversation, dear Teresa and Gary!! In particular, "hooray" for "brilliant and kind" leadership! I'm tired of domination and hierarchy being confused with, and substituted for, effective leadership. Hooray for conditions of caring in relationships - dignity leadership! I recommend Sara Ahmed's book "Complaint! (Duke University Press, 2021) for reflections on risks of complaining about mistreatment. Thanks for the dialogue!

It's a USA cultural norm to give undeserved respect to people who were in the military. I won't do that anymore. A person high on the scale of psychopathy is nothing more that that.

Interrupting someone talking is not the same as killing someone or insulting in order to degrade into servitude and being trampled.

It seems like psychologists amongst many faults do not account for unknowns and hidden motives.

Defense needs to be smarter and wiser... why are offensive psychopaths and narcs so power and strong?

I sensed some aggressive (if not bullying) behavior in the podcast itself. Oh the irony. Stopping the speaker, talking over her, interrupting her.

There's a difference between so-called aggressive behavior (like the silly crap listed) and slander, assault, threats, sabotage, violation of rights and freedoms, insults, servitude, oppression, suppression, slaughter, and the like. Please STOP with the silly DARVO attacks.
