My first wife worked there in 1980 she was a Spoke feeder. They had this weird rotating conveyor elevator system that just kept going and you can step onto it and then step off of it at your floor but you were completely exposed look like an OSHA violation

Yes, the manlift!! It was operational for a couple years after the building closed , before scrappers found value in copper. I remember the first time I rode it , you only had like a 12x18 platform to stand on and a rope you pulled to control the start/stop of the belt. The second floor had no windows, and the lights were off. I panicked until I got to the third floor, and saw daylight again. Remember the giant wheel that spun on the roof??

Search for - Jet fuel could have only added T - 25 = 282 - 25 = 257° C (495° F) to the temperature of the typical office fire that developed. Jet A and A1 burn temp is severely limited by oxygen supply and their ignition temp of 518-572° F is as high or higher than their pool burn temp. A36 begins to weaken at 1,100° F.
