3.23 LIVE - $600k/h - Group VHRT + ERT within 15 minutes in Corsair

Corsair with stock weapons and grade A quantum drive + shields is a beast for soloing ERT + VHRT. Just snipe out the bounty target and ditch jump away as fast as you can, don't let them swarm you or they can bring you down really fast on a server with good fps (8+ fps), this one was recorded on a slow server (5 fps).

Nice, I to this date have never finished a mission in SC, either it bugs out, someone kills my ship when i EVA or I cant find the beacons to nav to.

Nice video man, and I can see this work for in and out missions. Is the video really an ERT contract? That enemy dies so quick! I'm running 4xAD5B's and 2xM6A's and it takes me forever to kill one ship in ERTs. Also, if you are doing ERTs don't you feel like you are leaving potential wevil eggs by just killing main target and leaving?

There were 6 targets in this video. The first 3 targets were VHRT, the second 3 targets were ERT. Ballistics are not so good in the current patch for PVE, because there are 30% damage reduction on shields and 50% damage reduction on hull, and the hulls got HP buffed. That's why the meta is Laser Cannon. The M7A stock cannons on the Corsair have the highest sustained DPS and also highest damage per shot, though they are slow, so they are best suited for killing larger targets like we have in ERT. For smaller targets you will need to try killing them as soon as you can start getting in firing range (4km), and don't let them surround you, because it's very difficult to win a rate fight (dogfight in a circle) with them. I have not checked this patch, but in the previous patch there is usually no cargo on the ERT targets in a group mission, only cargo on solo missions.

Its not that he choose to leave the loot behind, its simply because he cannot face the others, soloing the main ERT target is already a feat itself, let alone kill ALL of them for the cargo, its not possible anymore, i got destroyed last night on my 600i and could not even take down the main one.

It's still possible to solo ERTs but a lot harder. Sometimes the ERT group is more aggressive than others. Best loadout for me so far is the Corsair with all Omniskys and Rattler missiles.

CIG was catching onto that and is making it more difficult, as other comments mention, to do stuff like that for quick easy cash especially if you're solo. This guy was on his game to go several missions in a row without losing his ship AND without repairing!

Im not sure if Im lagging or missing something, but it takes me around 3-4 reloads to kill a ship in ERT... Im talking under 1KM hitting every shot. How did you kill one with a single reload?!

I'm on 4090, 13700K, 32GB DDR4 3600hz tuned to 4000hz, gen4 nvme. Game window is expanded across 3 screens in a VHV (vertical-horizontal-vertical) setup, making up an 80" 6720x2160 surround display.

Corsair is like a naval sailing vessel, except both broadsides are facing forwards. Loads of power going in one direction. Doesn't turn very good though so you need to be smart with it

Are bounty hunting worth the grind to make money in 3.23 now ? I don’t like the mining/trading gameplay loop but if I’m remember correctly before 3.23 I’d make crumbs with bounty hunting even tho it was ERT

It's 600k/h which is only second to trading as far as I know. And it doesn't have the risk of losing money like trading does. And you don't fall asleep as often. I fell asleep on a trade run the other day and lost 2 mils.

@@brockoala2994definitely play the game for fun, not for money. Depending on what I’m looking for I’m either running MRT with my avenger titan or harder ones with the F7A mk2. Basically do I feel like dog fighting or playing tag with bigger ships. Either way it’s a much more fun way to spend my time than hauling, salvaging, or mining. The money will come, have fun along the way. I definitely prefer flying fighter over medium or big ships.

Like the other guy said, alt + right mouse. You can find it in the key binds, called "precision mode". There was no night vision in the video, it was just a graphical bug for a moment. Though you can use ReShade (a shader mod) to get the night vision effect. You can search KZbin for "Star Citizen reshade night vision", there should be plenty of guides to get you there.

Hold B to switch master modes. You need to switch to NAV mode to fly at above SCM speed or quantum travel, and switch back to SCM mode to do anything else, like firing weapons, turning on shields, mining, salvaging. To zoom in, Left Alt + Right Click, that's the Precision Mode.

How do you get the group missions to spawn?

By doing the ProTem group mission that sometimes pop up in Crusader space. I heard it can pop up in other areas too, but I have not seen that myself.

With the new MM in place, I honestly prefer solely doing FPS based missions now. It's probably a question of getting used to it and them further tweaking MM, but we'll see how it goes. Your video helps in deciding on how to tackle some space combat content now, and luckily I got a Corsair (which people say is good for various tasks still and won't get blown out the sky or void with ease compared to smaller craft now)

It's not, unfortunately. Inferno is butchered in this patch. Inferno was my top 1 favorite ship to run ERT in 3.22, but it's complete trash in 3.23. It's too slow to dodge incoming fire, resulting in instant deaths during ERT. The lack of warning will catch you off-guard. You can go from full shield to soft-death in 3 seconds, you won't even know what hit you.

It's the ship with highest pilot-controlled Gun DPS in the game! Sustained DPS even, you don't need to reload ballistics because its stock laser cannons already do a ton of DPS.

100 capacitors on weapons give 12 shots and you need this long for a redeemer? Yeah, energy weapons suck big time. Id rather have a good TTK and go reload every once in a while. Deadbolts are efficient now, and as youre not looting they would be a better choice ( they almost always hardkill, gatlings are better for soft killing if you wanna loot after ). Its a matter of preference for sure, but i think ballistics are absolutely better in 3.23.1. Because if you would have harder targets ( Hammerhead etc ) this wouldnt be such a walk in the park with the slow ttk laser cannons.
