The amount to run the charger at a station for your car is equivalent of powering 20 basic houses for a week
@gatwick_LGW6 ай бұрын
This may seem deep and off topic but electric cars are more dirtier than gas powered ones. Hear me out. How do you get that electricity? Through ways of emitting huge amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere in power plants. How do you get the parts manufactured? In a factory which also emits CO2. The co2 levels are much greater than 200 gas cars combined. Also the gas powered trucks which drive the electric cars to the dealership also raises the amount of CO2 released so in theory, electric cars are not dirtier or no different from gas powered cars

Have you ever heard of solar? If you're so worried about the environment, put panels on your roof. 😎
@yosammy17466 ай бұрын
@@DrDemp Engineers have already proven solar panels are a waste of material, a scam, and take up unnecessary space. Even Elon Musk hates the thought of solar panels especially in vehicles and engineers agreed to this. Nuclear power plant is a far more ideal but eh. Our elected officials are are stupid. Roof of your house. Yes panels as elon has stated there is not enough surface area on the roof of a car. There's a reason Tesla sells a solar roof 😉 Just think of me when your pumping gas and how it only takes 3 mins of your time and how you have to work 3 hours to put that $75 dollars in your tank. Cause your still trapped for buying gas and you have a small battery that has little to no range on its own. And you still have 100% of the maintenance for a Gasoline vehicle? Hard no.
@5150Arcticwolf6 ай бұрын
@@DrDemp I didn't say anything about gas. I am against how much pollution gas creates, but electric has a ton of short coming especially when it comes to towing and larger vehicles. Not to mention charge times. Not worth it for torque on a straight a way. Hyundai proved it can be done with Hydrogen on the N Vision 74. That is where it is at, BUT the cost of hydrogen will need to be fixed also... and the whole being a bomb thing. So no I am not trapped in the "gas" side of everything, I have independent thought, but see too many issues in electric where I realize it is not the answer everyone is saying it is... But it works great as my lawnmower though.

False. Electric charging prices are on the rise and soon to be expected to be the same price as gas. EVs have 1/3 of range that is advertised by EPA. On a single pump in my 1999 K24 swap integra, I reach only half tank after driving 230 miles on highway. I can easily get another 200+ miles until it runs empty. A 6 hr drive will take EVs almost double if not triple the time to get to your location. EVs lose range dramatically depending on weather where ICE will have little to no affect. EVs do not work if it's cold whereas ICE will turn on just fine. EVs are not reliable forms of transportation which is why you see them drop in value so fast in only just a few years. Majority of people who have owned EVs wished they never had them or simply sold them and took the negative equity to buy an ICE vehicle. EVs are not pollution-free as this was already debunked. Conclusion? EVs have nothing against ICE and it's far more capable than any EV in the market. Even my Integra will outlast any EVs and I had it since 2008. Plus, your like/dislike ratio already proves my point and where people's opinions stand.

My electricity hasn't moved a penny. Even through the 2 years ago $5 a gallon, still charging at the same low cost. I show my electricity bill in multiple videos. Thanks for watching 😊
@yosammy17466 ай бұрын
@@DrDemp You can't use "I show my electricity bill in multiple video" as a valid argument at all since it has nothing to do with the general population. Anybody who uses the reason "I buy an EV to save gas" literally makes no sense either. Charging stations has increased their price by 16% in a single year and is expected to continue to go up in price. On average, people has seen an increase in their electricity bill by 26%-36%. From 2014 to 2023, electricity bill has increased around 90%. If you live in California, you will be charged far greater depending on where you fall in the tax bracket. Let's not forget the loan you're still paying for the car. And if you need a battery replacement, it's going to cost you roughly $15k-$20k just to replace a battery as these batteries lose their range dramatically in 3-5 years even if you live in perfect conditions. A 2020 Tesla Model S long range went from 400 miles down to near 220 miles in 4 years. Again, there's a reason why EVs lost value so quickly overtime. It's because people are starting to realize how pathetic EVs are and people are starting to realize they felt for the EV baits. Yea no thanks. I'll stick to my 20+ year old Integra that isn't going to cost me an arm and leg. ICE are just far more superior than any EV on the market.

@@DrDemp EVs didn't drop in price because technology got cheaper. They dropped in price because nobody wanted one, range decreased dramatically, not as convinient, poor quality, etc. People started to realize they ain't the hype they said it was. If 54% of EV owners are regretting buying an EV, that's telling you something about these EVs.
