One thing I've learned with making burgers is that you gotta be generous with seasoning. It seems like too much when you cover it with a lot of salt, but as the meat caramelises, it works its way in giving it deeper flavour!

Please Try Qin West Noodle in LA, they have branched out and their are a few locations, but all of them are good, authentic chinese/chinese american food, get the Saozi Dry Noodle or the Liangpi Dry Noodle, they are amazing.

If you do the survey on the McDonald's receipt you get a BOGO deal, which brings the price of 2 bigmacs in the ballpark of $3.50. But a double quarter pounder is usually only about a buck more than a big mac and is a lot more food for the dollar. Also, jumbo jacks are 2 for 5 on the jack app, and breakfast jacks are 2 for 3. Almost back to the old days, but not quite back to the days of $1 jumbo jacks, whoppers, famous stars and the big and tasty (which was basically a quarter pounder with lettuce and tomatoes). And breakfast jacks were always only a buck for decades, same with 2 tacos, which happen to still be 99c on the app.

@dabking3611 but my local jacks are over $5 for the jacks and the Supreme, but yeah the Supreme doesn't have a deal on the app, so I may use my last receipt surveys for the Supreme if I am craving those. You don't get a receipt when using the app do it won't really be an issue, since they keep raising prices, the app deals are the way to go. And it is so much faster too, they just hand it to you at the window and it is being made when you are driving over. Win win.

The 2 for 3 breakfast jack is a nice bonus and now that 2 tacos are $1.99 I will probably be 100% app from now on. Regrets for not joining the rewards pack back when I had $3k of saved up ebt and was dropping $30-50 orders all the time, could have entered the receipt code and literally earning a free premium sandwich almost every time. The thing was you can't use EBT with online ordering, but I wish I had thought of at least racking up all those points...

We got a joint in Baltimore called Ginos it was founded by an old Baltimore Colt football player back in the late 50s. They actually had the first big mac style club burger with an identical special sauce called the Gino Giant. This was Before McDonald's released theirs.. There were all kinds of lawsuits and McDonald's ultimately prevailed and it actually took Gino's straight to bankruptcy. So an interesting local story from decades ago. But 15 years ago some local folks bought the Gino's name and trademark and opened a single store with plans to franchise again. They make the Gino Giant again and you can choose various sized patties and its better than the big mac by miles. At McDonald's i get mine with quarter pounder patties and its soooo much better. Get extra special sauce since its more meat and its awesome.

All of the combos are ridiculous and all you're getting in a combo is a tiny ass order of fries and a drink. $16 for a pastrami combo??? $14 for chicken avocado???
