As an ENFJ of that was so accurate! I never understand how people don’t organise birthday parties and fun, exciting social gatherings. I’ve never been invited to any, I’m always the one organising everything. However, in a weird way I really enjoy organising these things and making people happy. Sometimes I find it hard when people don’t put so much back into a friendship as a put a lot of effort into these things so learning more about different personality types really helps.

same. sometimes i feel like it's a one sided friendship. I found out it's because as enfj's we can either love 0% or 100% so we throw ourselves into the friendship. they love it at first and try to keep up or some may even take advantage but at the end of it they get used to the love we give and take it for granted. just remember, our love we give is not the same love they give, people have different ways of showing love, especially introverts. :)

I am ENFP and I am not a good party host, but I often took action to bring people together. Go for a drink or in a pizzeria in group after Italian course ... Start a get together for media freelancers in my city ... and so little came back. Last year I got in contact with an untypical ENFJ. Inbetween I even asked myself if he could be ESTP because he was impulsive and pushy (loops are similar). Maybe he needed holiday from his life and all the demands on him ...

I'm an ENFJ, and I'm fairly new to the Myers Briggs personalities concept.... I've never felt so understood, my entire life. I can't wrap my head around that, it seems like everything about me is outlined to an insane degree of accuracy. I've always felt alone with my burden to help the world, and at times the responsibility felt like too much for me to handle alone, especially with the constant reminder that no one else seems to care at all. Knowing that I'm not alone is a great relief 😊 However, because of how precisely these personality traits seem to describe me, I now almost feel like a cookie cut mould, taking all of my individuality away. 😒 Its truly beyond me, how I can be ALL of these traits of this type, and not just a random complicated output, due to unique DNA, Upbringing and life experiences. HOW!? 🤷♂️ If you're an ENFJ and you've made it this far into my post, and would like to get to know another ENFJ, please get in touch, as i'd like to get to know and understand you, and dissect each others personalities. -Jerome 😊
@suzannasmith62652 жыл бұрын
Jerome, just because you share these traits with 3% of the worlds population, does not mean you are not uniquely you. You are. You have your own interests and goals and values. The personality traits are just pretty much how we process them. I am an ENFJ. I always thought I was an Introvert but since taking the test and doing some research I had to say, I was wrong. I still can do public speaking in front of a lot of people but that is my own self confidence issue and maybe I should work on it. anyway....Hello from one weirdo to another!

Strengths of ENFJ: 1. strongly people-oriented, so ENFJs like to host or attend social events. ENFJ authentically want people around them to enjoy themselves . 2. Balanced organization and adventure. ENFJs want adventure AND can plan the logistics of adventures. 3. Strong aesthetic eye and often have a lot of knowledge about certain interests, e.g. psychology theories. 4. Discipline and commitment. ENFJs tend to have a strong Why and so tend to keep going after what they want until they get it.

Great video man. I'm an enfj and id say all are spot on. One thing I'd add is we have particular interest in science and psychology. In so far as it provides us with a mental framework of understanding the people around us. You can say bolsters all we learn about people to logic. But ya everything else is right on. I like how enfps can be so spontaneous and quick to find new ideas. It's very charming as well. This is one of the downsides to having Ni, we are exceptional when we focus but only at a specialized few ideas.

@EmbouchureDystonia2 жыл бұрын
Fellow ENFJ here - so true! I think we are all into psychology. I've met other ENFJ's who I can talk to about both metaphysics, psychology, and esoterics. I'm always shocked at how deep we can get into the subject! It's because we love to know how people tick or think; the reasoning behind peoples behaviors. It's because we feel/absorb peoples emotions and/or pick up on them easily, but we also love to process them and make logic of it all. We also tend to put others feelings before our own, and even when we decide not to (for example - setting boundaries), we do so in the most graceful manner as possible. We like to be very upfront about our feelings when can, but sometimes it comes out more in our words, than actions. The "J" in us likes to have things settled and leave no room for misunderstanding. The biggest offense we could take is when people doubt our values and principles ....which we hold very deeply! Often find myself thinking, "Why would someone assume that of me? I'm not that type of person!" Many of us are honest and straightforward, but it's this extroversion of our personality and adaptability to environments which makes people sometimes assume we are not being genuine, when in actuality we are being genuine. We just have multiple facets to us, or duality in a sense. I've had people tell me - "You act different when around this person vs this other person." And it's not that I'm not being my true self at all times, it's that "adapting to the environment" or other person we are interacting with which is our way of showing we care. Also depends on how comfortable we feel opening up around others about certain things. If we pick up on the fact someone doesn't like discussing deeper meanings of life, we will discuss whatever they are interested in - even if it's mathematics or what they did this morning. We go with the flow! But overall, we love to bring out the best in others, and love showing people their true potential by always saying, "You'd be great at this, or that....you would make a fantastic this or/that....I'm so proud of you! I have a lot of respect for you...." and so forth. Because there's nothing better that can improve the world more-so than others being their best self, truest self, and following what makes them passionate.....this in itself can change the world. About myself; I have an identical twin sister and she is an INFJ. She always tells me, "You're definitely a game-changer and don't see it." This is because I advocate for niche and/or group of people in a field that is rarely discussed. I generally don't like being front and center, but when it comes to a cause and standing up for others, no matter how rare of a niche, I care about it and want to make a difference in my community/profession, and for future generations. Mainly because of been there and back....through hell and back....like the Lord of the Rings "There and back again..." hahaha. Life is too short, so might as well leave the world a better place than where you left it.

I am a Gen X ENFJ-A. All those points you shared are spot on. While it may appear that we are 'partiers', we just really like to be around activity and people. Definitely not the center of attention but making sure everyone is having a good time. Another interesting skill or quality is the ability to read people very quickly. Seeing opportunity to engage and finding common ground with minimal effort. Always on the lookout for those seeking help or guidance, in which I can use my experience to share. The desire to continuously find solutions and make people better. Turning bad situations into more positive perspectives. I love to mentor, coach, and counsel. I am currently a corporate trainer/HR. A very positive mindset and willingness to bring people up who are struggling or just having a bad day. Thanks for the video. Peace.

If I don't like some kind of behaviour of a person, I let me grow balls and talk to his face, more in a diplomatic way of course :-) Often I talk too much, this is rather annoying for some people. I am ENFJ the most interesting thing about this personality is that they know it all due to empathetic nature they can absorb all energies.

As an ENFJ I'm quite disappointed about little to no regard about fashion and the arts in some of the analysis of other videos talking about this type. I don't know if it's uncommon to our type since I've never met another ENFJ in my lifetime, (I did, just not in my circle, yet) But this video makes me not regret to pursue art anymore lol. Thank you!

I am also an ENFJ, this video resonates with me so well! For the part of the commitment maybe it would be better to add that an ENFJ go for anything if the vibes of environment matches with us. Otherwise it’s a red flag, it is all about the energy in the group and environment 😅
