This is the best real estate video I've seen on property in Portugal..or anywhere really. You don't waste time and you are attentive to all the important details ..and your suggestions regarding the property are very sound. This was a nice house and in much better condition than anything else I've seen in that price range. Will look for more property videos from you.

I saw a comment on a Spanish property referencing the bars on windows. Their thinking was people like to keep the windows open at night and it was just another layer of security. I am one of those so it made sense to me. In the states it usually makes you think it's a bad area. And then you know, the zombies and all......

Thinking about the paint falling off, I think the problem maybe water entering from the irrigation system going under the house, and overtime causing the problem. We had a similar situation on our house, rain water would come and flow over the sill, actually flooding inside. So we put a cement curb around the house, directing the water away from the house. Which stopped the water from draining under the building. Good luck, love this property. So much potential.

So many similarities between them and both well cared for by the previous owners. The place I'm getting is a similar price, but a little less land with 45 fruit trees. Looking forward to my move in about 3-4 weeks. Great looking place, if I'd considered Portugal, it's the sort of place I'd be looking for.

Hi J, we create virtual tour videos for people who cant view properties here in person. They send us the property they are interested in and we film it for them. It can be from any estate agency. Remax has a lot of properties here in the Central area which is why you see a lot from that particular agency.

Hi Ken! I'm wondering in the attic area why there are blue tarps in spots? And also because you can see daylight coming through the roof tiles in attic, and in storage area next to the outdoor kitchen does it not mean rain will drip through? I'm not familiar with this roof tiling system? Thank you for showing this, it is absolutely lovely.❤

Hi Michele, the agent said they were storing stuff under there and that it was a dust cover for whatever they had under there. All of the roofs we have looked at are made this way where you can see some light through the tiles in some places. Even our roof is like this, but water dosent come through.

I dont really pay much attention to the news or politics so I cant really say what the government is like here. Central Portugal is very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It snows in areas around 800 metres above sea level. If you have a decent house with a log burner its not too bad and very cosy. I am very glad to hear that you are enjoying the videos :)

I would say the marks on the walls could be scrapes from maybe a wheel chair. You did say elderly people had lived there. The bars on the windows may also attribute to the fact elderly lived there. Older folks start to feel insecure in later years.

Another great tour, Ken. I think you are the best at this kind of real estate video ... very thorough, thoughtful, and evenly paced. This is a very appealing property. @OKportugal3 жыл бұрын
I did not ask about a pump but I can't see why not. You pay a set amount per year and can use as much water as you need, and I guess a pump is a much more convenient way to get the water where you need it as opposed to where the overflow is. Perhaps someone else who knows can comment further.
