Enjoyed watching another nice selection of cookies! I want to share a tip I learned from America's Test Kitchen. When making the peanut butter blossoms, they took the cookies out of the oven while there was 3 minutes left, placed the kisses on the cookies then returned them to the oven and let them finish baking. You can imagine after all the testing they did how wonderful the cookies came out. It was the perfect amount of time to soften the kisses and they just melt in your mouth (not in the oven). I tried that trick the next time I made them and they were great. Still enjoy watching your videos! Keep it up!

I love thumbprints. We always dipped them in the egg white then chopped nuts before baking. Then instead of using jam in the center we used a little icing.

My 3 granddaughters, my husband and I raised them, have been out of the country for almost 5 months. They come back next month. I cannot wait. We decided to have a few cooking days during November and December. I have been looking for dessert, cookie and candy recipes for us to make. I really like so many of your recipes. The last time I made thumbprint cookies, I spun a good sized package of almonds in the mini chopper. Then rolled my cookies in it before making the thumbprint, then put in your jam/jelly and bake as per your instructions. Heavenly!

Hi Catherine, I’m in the process of making the peanut butter blossoms and in your written recipe the one cup of butter was left out. Instructions say to cream the butter, sugar and peanut butter so I had to watch the video again to see what you were using. Enjoying your recipes a great deal. Its good that you showed how to separate the eggs using the shells. Old school is best. I have been experimenting with chickpea flour and it works quite similar to all purpose flour typically I usen 1/2 and 1/2 in recipes.
