Another great trick is to use beat jump function if you mix in to early or to late.
@typicalaimster5 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I've used the beat jump function to jump back or forward a few beats when I've missed my cue point. You can also use the beat jump function to build hype out of a mistake. Just have to practice doing it.

I've also used this when I realize I'm way too late in the song to have time to mix in the next song well... kinda like a loop after the fact

Hey mate, super useful video as always! Just a quick request, could you do a video about song selection while playing live? I've got a huge gig coming up in December and I want to make sure I smash it and make the dance floor happy! (please go over things like: How to read a crowd, how to choose the next song based on what the crowd is doing/feeling, what to do if no one is dancing and things like that!)

tricks 2 & 3 I use often, but if I mix to late or early sometimes I'll loop it but most of the time I tap the cue point and loop the other track to do it since I put a cue point at the 1st bar of a phrase and one on the half of phrase.
