Have my eyes on this. Keep getting discouraged. “Unreliable parts hard to find & expensive “ Would you recommend the 675 ?

Aup bro it’s my mates bike but from the way he talks about it and how much fun I had on it. It’s a great bike and I haven’t heard much about the unreliability of them. Maybe find a low mileage with full service history and inspect every little thing. You will find a gem out there somewhere

I’ve had nothing but good things to say about mine. Keep up on regular maintenance and it’ll be great. Early models (2007-2009ish) have some issues with electrical like the regulator and also with the oil dipstick. And 2011-2012 r models are my favorite generation, but most people suggest 2013+ because they made some chassis and engine tweaks.

I've had my 2014 675 for a little over two years. Admittedly I spoil the bike with factory service, it's not cheap. But the bike has been as reliable as my CBR. More comfortable too which is kind of surprising. I ride it daily and have put 17k miles on it. Bought it with 3k and now we're almost at 21k miles. I was sceptical about reliability before I bought it. Unfounded fear. Get one, it's the best middleweight I've ever had and it's faster than the new ones.

Seems like you got yourself into triple howl. I had 2011 Daytona in black/gold for three years. These are way more unique/rare than japanese so price of OEM is slighlty higher just as availability, mine had issue with alternator since didint know nothing beside it was used by woman in Switzerland(seems like she treated it harshly, probably wheeling or burnouts), apart from left side low speed drop it had really good rizoma accesories, only had to get new both left footrests. Was really smooth driving, lightweight and narrow which helps in traffic, it is really qucik if you gonna visit trackdays sometimes, nothing handles as good as Daytona. Now im riding 17' Speed R with way more comfortable position and much more torque from low range, was more expensive and so will be the maintenance but im all for the triple for now. Hope you find really good one, i love the blue Daytona with gold wheels, is best looking in my opinion.
