So, I got sucked into fishing this series of Florida piers for 3 days in a row, desperately trying to catch the fish of a lifetime. It was just pure fishing madness for 3 days straight. Nothing went as expected. What a time!!

We were out fishing the crystal pier in San Diego, surfers all over, and they all had the nerve to yell at the fishermen for hooking them. Enraging but in the end I caught my first shark off the pier so I was happy nonetheless. Definitely an experience fishing with ignorant surfers.

Hey ace! I love your videos. I’ve been following you for a year now. & the first video I’ve seen was the one of you & your father diving off shore in front of Sheraton on Maui. I’m from Lahaina. Born & raised. As you know Maui had a major fire. Basically the whole town of Lahaina burnt down. My home is in the fire zone & uninhabitable. Well what in trying to say is, if there’s anyway your able to come back to Maui & use your platform to help spread awareness to Maui we’d appreciate it. The bird that you spotted is actually an Egret. Both very similar to each other but a White Heron has yellow legs and is typically larger that an egret.

Now im not too experienced how tight drag should be while on a big fish, but i hear often people talking about side drag; place your finger on the body of the spool to add some additional friction just to slow down the spin opposed to making it tighter.
