Start using your pin fish hole on a hook. Hook them right under their dorsal fin. You can catch big gator/ sea trout, reds, black drum, Spanish Maks… pin fish along with other bait fish eat the game fish’s eggs so the game fish are highly aggressive towards those bait fish.

I always bake my 🐟 whiting with some 🍅 tomatoes. Never fry them. Kinda underrated fish at the piers. I think they are delicious. FYI, next time you bait a blue crab be sure to go through the leg joins. I will stay on the hook much better.

The Mosquito aiming specifically for the coffee and immediately drowning is the most hilariously mosquito thing ever. Me and my mom have witnessed many a Squito murder themselves willfully upon soap, and even Mayonnaise for absolutely no reason with the utmost confidence. Or at least get skunk drunk off of them 😂 And if you want to get stupidstitious, even if as more of a joke, a mosquito suicide diving into your drink could easily be seen as a positive omen, as they're abundant, breed and begin life in calm, still water, which would indicate a omen of Abundance and Calm Waters! 🙃

You can’t have your drag loose when pier fishing the pillings. Those little fish would not be drag and getting you in trouble wrapping your line up. Just an fyi from a guy that pier fishes almost every weekend

Do you cut the tails off the sharks you keep to let them bleed out before you clean them? That's what I usually do and there isn't much blood in the meat in about 15 minutes
