In my own humble opinion, you would be hard pressed to find a better place to spend a couple days than Michigan in the fall. Good camp, good weather and good food... the simple pleasures in life! My wife gave me a heated vest last Christmas, wish I would have had it years ago. One of my favorite pieces of gear, a real game changer during the rifle deer season this year.

I couldn’t agree more with you on that one. It was perfect out there. Yea the jacket really does make a difference. I’m thinking about putting a large power bank/electric generator in my cooler backpack and have it run all day off it

I really enjoyed all the aerial footage. A few friends and I did a paddle trip down the Manistee River a few days ago in the snow, and I know what you mean about sleeping better the second night after you figure out what works best. What campsite is his on the Au Sable?

We had two canoes and a kayaker. The kayaker was in a dry suit but the rest of us were in layers, rainwear, and our pfd’s. I used to be a canoe guide in Northern Ontario so I know the dangers of cold water paddling and all but one was an experienced paddler. If you have the gear, you should do it! Just take all the extra safely precautions.

@@Jenissuperhero Yea a dry suit sounds great for that situation. Looking at them now. I definitely wouldn’t do the upper Manistee in those conditions with all the obstacles there. Thanks for the tips and maybe I’ll see you outside sometime 😊

Permethrin!!!!! It’s a military grade bug spray you can buy at any store or Amazon. Lasts months and I’ve seen ticks literally run away from me 👍

I’ve only done 3 videos featuring gear and they weren’t even back to back so each video is a stretch. I hardly make any money doing this and spend A LOT on it and I definitely can’t afford the better gear so when a company wants to help out with a item that I can use I’ll take advantage if it makes the adventure warmer or easier

I know if alls I had to do was talk about a product for ten seconds on camera to be able to go do the things I love, I would do it too. Idk anyone who wouldn't.
