Atlas dog and I (Brett) are out in the backcountry of Michigan on the Au Sable River camping alone in the rooftop top and breaking in the kayak for the season as well as a new double wide Airsoft 4.5" air mattress sent to us from Lost Horizon to try out in the rooftop tent. I lived in Michigan for a long time in my early years and the background sound of the frogs and bugs and birds brought back so many great memories! Recently found your channel and I am really enjoying watching all of your back videos. You have a great style and screen presence. Very easy to watch and your content in very intriguing. Makes me miss spending nights in a tent camping in Michigan near the Au Sable and Rifle Rivers. I live down in the Florida Keys now so the sights and sounds are very different for me these days. That looked so comfy. Your dog looks so much like my pup I had for 13.3 years. I adopted her from a pet adoption van in a parking lot. She was 8 weeks old and a little black puff ball, already without her mom and littermates, and spayed. She adored the water and I had to keep her coat clipped down 3x/year or she would soak up too much water and ride too low as she swam with a stick in her mouth. I swear once she nearly drowned. I never threw a stick for her without being clipped after that. (She'd also get snowballs all between her pads in the winter. It was a strange 3-layer coat.) She loved to go for rides in the car. She would never sit or lay down and wanted her head out the window as much as possible. On the highway, that wasn't going to happen but when we were driving on secondary roads, she was hanging out. Sometimes she'd be up there in the window with one arm slung out the side, too. She'd get biscuits at the bank drivethru and munchkins at Dunkin Donuts drivethru. 🤣 I miss my little Cisco and it was nice to see her in your dog in this video. I'm a new subscriber. I loved your 120 mile video and this one caused me to join. Love this kind of content and you do an excellent job. Thank you so much. God bless you both.

Sasquatch is a popular myth here. You go into outdoors stores here and sassy is on everything! I remember there being people camping in that direction about a quarter mile from me so it could’ve been them or just a random dead tree coming down, it is rare though. Thanks for watching
