In this video I'm truck camping in SW Florida, and eating what I can catch. It's winter and the best time to fish for Crappie. Watch me set up camp, catch my food, cook some delicious meals, enjoy bonfires and live out of the back of my truck.

I am 23 and love JC's videos; he has the best personality, attitude and catch. He might not always be catching the biggest fish but I think he has the most fun catching the rest. The other fishing KZbinrs are WAY too serious.

@@devensilvers6256 | Literally! My biggest pet peeve is when they catch an unwanted species and it’s a “trash fish”, as well as their attitude. Any day on the water in a GOOD day. JC makes the most out of everything I swear 😂

Dude .... this will blow your mind. Today I am at Wal-Mart looking at the fishing stuff, and I couldn't help noticing that they had about a dozen Zebco Hot Cast on the rack. I asked the guy, stocking the shelves why they had so many (I know him, he has worked fishing & hunting for years), and he replies "I can't keep them in stock .... some guy on youtube has been catching fish like crazy on one .... everybody wants 'em" I then told him that it was you, and told him about rad reeling. Nice job JC!

your connections will corrode over time one way to solve that problem is to bath all your connections and metal parts in lithium grease to create a barrier. You should also keep tools in your kayak to perform minor repairs that include bypassing all connections and hot wiring your trolling motor direct to the battery in a emergency
@RadReelingFishing
@RadReelingFishing 6 ай бұрын
Thanks. They system is designed to bypass and connect directly to the battery if needed.

Hey JC, another great video thanks for sharing. 👍 Just a suggestion for trolling, get another rod holder and mount a short distance from your first one. Buy the shorter 4’6” Hotcast rod, then get a 8’ rod. Put the shorter rod near the stern and then the longer rod. This will help keep your lines separated. Good Luck PS You could also do this on the opposite side and be able to fish 4 rods. 😀

As always , great content. I truly enjoy your channel! Keep inspiring us. Just an idea, for your camper lights, there’s an adapter for power tools battery that you can wire to led lights. Just buy after market batteries and the adapter . Dewalt or ryobi batteries 12v aftermarket , cheap and I’m sure one charge will last for a long time.

I use to have lots of issues with the motor plug also. I finally replaced it with one that twist locks in and I haven’t had a single issue since. I highly recommend doing the same. I’m about to replace the battery plug with a 3 prong plug so I can power my yak power system off it also with a single connection.

Hey JC howz it goin? Been a while since I commented, but I'm getting caught up. A little harder to do with these novela videos that sometimes you guys put out. Don't get me wrong they're super interesting, just hard to watch all at once if you got other things going on. I know you don't like to give out your spots, that's not what I'm asking. Just want to know how close you are to Tampa in this video, and is that a brackish body of water or you're catching those catfish and crappie, or is it a freshwater lake? I don't know my way around over there to save my life! Only came over a couple times once for a Rays game, The other to see a Lightning match, so it won't make a hill of beans if you tell me where you are unless you don't want other people knowing by telling me. Don't remember if you know about what was going on with me when I emailed you, but now I've got other things going on unfortunately (medically speaking), had wanted to get back to it hardcore, had been going to the gym for a while, but apparently I wasn't ready to do that yet either. Anyway I appreciate what you do I'm way in the beginning of the video right now, but I'll watch to the end. If I got any more questions I'll ask. I appreciate what you do, you know that, God bless brother! Tight lines, and drag screamin!

Thanks for watching. I don't reveal locations 99% of the time. A very close friend took me to this lake and showed me how to catch Crappie there. It just wouldn't be ethical for me to announce the location to 70,000 subscribers after he took me there or anyone. Thanks for commenting. Florida has loads of public campgrounds that have lakes in them.
