When my nephew was like 4 or 5 i was watching over him for the weekend, so he stayed at my appartment. In the middle of the night he tapped me on the shoulder because he wanted to go to the bathroom. I was half asleep and was wondering why i woke up and looked up. I forgot that he was there with me and was so terrified to just see a kid in the dark watching me and looking directly into my eyes. He didn't say anything at first, just standing there. I nearly got a heartattack before realizing that it was just him.... needless to say it was too late and he peed in his pants.

She's family, after all, and she watches the kids for free. I guess dads just are like this. When I was about 9, my dad was driving me to school, and we got into a small accident on the way. Nothing serious, but dad needed to wait for the cops with that other driver. But instead of calling my school and saying I’ll be late for class that day, he just deadass hitched some random car passing by and asked the driver to take me to school on his way. I was weirded out but hey, for a kid, the parent’s decision is always trustworthy. The guy did drop me off at school, no issues. Now I recall he gave off an equally weirded out vibe, probably was wondering what kind of a parent would just ask a stranger to drive their kid. My dad was just blissfully unaware of how many things could have gone wrong. Mom probably scolded him a lot, but I don’t remember. My parents are totally normal, average parents in all other circumstances.
