Exactly! In my old elementary school, if someone other than my parents or registered guardians (someone trustworthy recommended by my parents for emergency situations) came to pick me up, then I have to inform one of our teacher monitors (TMs, who are like class monitors, but instead of students it's two of the teachers assigned to teach our class), who would then speak to my parents in front of this person, make the person and my parents talk to each other, and once it's 100% confirmed that this person is safe to send me with, then only I'm allowed to leave. After WhatsApp became rampant, the confirmation steps involved parents sending a picture of this person to the TMs through WhatsApp. If my parents can't pick the call or send a picture, no matter how much I and this person tell them that we know each other, I'll have to stay in school with my TMs until my parents confirm this person's validity, or they themselves come and pick me. And no, if I tried to leave without informing my TMs, then the security guards at the gate will stop me, ask who my TMs are and inform them. Back then, I used to feel that these rules were too much, but today I understand why it was so.

My biggest fear as a child was getting kidnapped. In third grade, they made us watch a Stranger Danger video; one scene showed a girl accepting a lift from a stranger and then getting assulted in the car off-screen (you only heard her protesting and screams of terror). Horrifying, but we had to be made aware of the reality of the sickos out there. My parents happened to be late picking me up that afternoon, and I stood there sobbing my eyes out, thinking that I was about to end up on a missing poster. 😢😅😂 I can laugh about it today.

Why the hell did that guy’s employee do that?! What was his thinking process?? Was he mad at his employer and this was a twisted form of revenge? Or was he a predator taking advantage of a situation? The kid said he’s certain he’d be dead if the police hadn’t come. How was he certain of that? It’s good that apparently the boy didn’t didn’t need to testify in court or anything either. I’m curious to know more about the case.
@thelogicaldanger7 ай бұрын
@@tablescissors It's pretty clear the guy was a predator taking advantage of the situation. It wouldn't be revenge, because it wouldn't hurt the employer any--he shows up to pick the the kid up, and the teacher sent the kid with someone else, that isn't his fault. Of course, nobody can be 100% certain of anything, but now that the kid is grown up and knows that 99% of predators kill their victims, he can be pretty certain he would be dead, if he hadn't been rescued. My guess is the predator made a plea bargain, which is why the kid wouldn't have to testify in court--since the predator was caught red handed, his best outcome would be to take a plea bargain, rather than try to prove he wasn't guilty in court.

In the last story, that all escalated due to that girl's selfishness and idiocy. Now in no way am I defending Zach's stalking; obviously that's not okay, and he should've been punished. However, I find it ironic that this girl called Zach a coward. Because if she weren't such a coward herself, she would have simply rejected him upfront from the start - instead of giving Zach false hope about something he wanted, only to find out said hope was a lie and wouldn't have happened. Mind you, AFTER being used for good grades the entire semester. Again, I'm not excusing Zach's response nor do I agree with it (double clarifying that before random people come replying and making stupid assumptions as if I'm on Zach's side), but you don't have to agree with something to UNDERSTAND it. And it is indeed understandable that the girl's cowardice, coupled with the fact that she used him and lied to him, equated to Zach returning a crazy response.
@GoddessofWisdom5 күн бұрын
Do you know how high the rates are of femicide? Especially because a man was rejected? She had no idea what he might do if she flat out said no. Maybe have more empathy for women who have to live in a world where they're afraid of men - 1 in 3 women around the world have experienced physical or sexual violence, and 81% of women have been sexually harassed - then for a man who couldn't take a hint. He offered to help, she did not use him. She did not owe him anything just because he helped her.

1- A crazy person; very sad, and very common. 2- Most likely a homeless man, a lot of homeless people will take place in abandon buildings, the man was most likely just trying to scare them out, so authorities didn't come and get him out. (could be on drugs as well) it's possible that the man knew the building was being torn down and decided to leave later on. 3- A man that probably has a hard time in his social life and getting girls at school. He was probably just so fed up that that's why he one, was mad, and two, didn't want to give up. It is pretty weird that he showed up at your house late at night, but he was most likely drunk or suffering from resentment and depression. The end text was not as stalkerish, as I thought it may be, but it could be interpreted in a threatening tone (most likely that's not what it was indented as). And when the calls from her dad and police station snapped him back to reality, that's when yes, he was probably shitting himself and decided it was best to just avoid her from now on. -For people trying to find the reality of beloved horror ✨✨

I honestly felt bad for the dude in the 3rd story, it doesn’t excuse his stalking or weird actions; he’s definitely a creep but the girl used him all year just to get a good grade and couldn’t even return the favor of a date ? Even if she was uninterested she could’ve been straight up if she was never gonna see him again. He definitely got the wrong impression from as his feelings were one sided, but that story was more a drama story than a horror. She made herself look like the bad guy,using him for a good grade and bouncing, lying to him, calling him a basement dweller when he was the one helping her, told her dad of a text that wasn’t threatening in anyway, he just explaining how harshly you used him and even though most of her friends still pined him as the bad guy. She honestly didn’t owe him anything but just tells you to not let others cheat off your own success. Made him out to be a creeper but In class when you needed answers you weren’t afraid of him then. Sorry for the rant but god I felt bad.

@@mommyshark1124 yeah bro true, I usually don’t feel sympathy towards the bad guy, there have been times in some Mr Nightmare’s stories I’ve felt that way but for the most part the bad guys are just plain bad. He probably thought they were friends and was hoping to make a move especially after helping her all year in class. She pulled a lowball and cut him off after she got what she wanted. That to me is just sad,especially in college. I’ve helped friends cheat in grade school but it was a far more lenient then and I wasn’t paying for it but I’ve been through similar issues where I’ve been used before but never went as far as stalking. He probably could’ve got a shot once she got back from her “trip” but the fact that she lied made her intentions clear and as well as him stalking her right from the get go just ruined it. It’s a messed up situation all around but to me there is no good guy in that story.

hit the nail on the head with this, so many people here are just excusing her actions because "ohh what if he was violent?" he wasn't a threat to you when you used him to get good grades, so why is he suddenly a threat now? Plus what he did was only slightly creepy, so if she had respected him and given him no reason to be mad in the first place literally nothing probably would have happened. i hate to say it but i think girls like her are a huge part of why incels exist

As for the 3rd story-don't lie, don't take advantage of people, and you can avoid causing trouble for yourself and others.

Tbh , every line in that long text from Zach seemed to have made quite a lot 9f sense . using others although you find them repulsive and then deny when it's your turn to return the favour still doesn't seem right to me. But , yeah , that was certainly not a way to ask a girl out.
@zackdesilva47307 ай бұрын
@@abirbiswas3893I wouldn’t call someone else offering to do my homework using them, that was his choice to do that. He may have only done it because he’d misread some things but she didn’t know until it was over. And she doesn’t owe him a date. She owes him honesty, an apology and maybe a form of compensation that she’s comfortable with.
@espadafive3026 ай бұрын
They both should’ve been honest with each other. Yes she somewhat took advantage over him but at the same time he didn’t do anything about helping her do it on her own and try to get a move on her in a weird way. He chose to do the work for her. If she said no thank you. I’m not interested in a polite way. Maybe she would have been better, although she was also wrong for lying about her trip. Still they both in the wrong however the dude took it too far. Zak’s actions were wrong in the end.

3rd story needed to be this. "Will you go on a date with me?" - She responds: "I'm sorry, I don't feel that way about you." One of two things will happen, he'll get angry, which makes it HIS fault for putting too much faith in the situation. OR, he'll simply go "okay" and that would have been the end of that. Her cowardice in not wanting to be honest with him is what made her mean, however at the same time Zach should have known how freakin' weird it was to go an entire year and then ask someone out on the very last day. Bad navigation of the situation from both parties.

U out them on the same level and completely left out Zach’s stalking and weird text. Plenty of women have died, been stalked and other things for rejecting a guy and she did it to protect his feelings

3:00; this is why most schools ask for an id now, s that way someone can't just waltz in and kidnap u pretending to be a parent. Even if this did happen to you, you should always contact your parents first and never trust a stranger no matter where you are or who they say they are. Stranger danger lessons lol
