I remember after 9/11 how we came together. We weren’t black or white or brown. We weren’t liberal or conservative. For just a moment we were all Just Americans.

I remember that time very well. Despite the god awful tragedy it did give me hopeful glimpse of the future. A future where we are all simply Americans nothing more nothing less. Being united in pain, in grief, in anger, in hope, and in determination. Because Americans standing united together in freedom. Peace, liberty, and the pursuit of prosperity will always prevail. Also enemies of America listen closely and carefully. Attacking Americans and her citizens will be at your own peril, you’ve been warned!

I spent 27 years in the Air National Guard and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. During these years, I got to know my fellow GuardsmEn as a proactive member of the Enlisted Association National Guard of Arizona. During the onset of OIF & OEF, 54% of the fighting forces was National Guard. During Hurricane Katrina, the National Guard was there helping people and rebuilding lives. Since 1636, the National Guard, your citizen soldiers and airmen, have been there fighting our enemies and supporting our communities. NATIONAL GUARD MOTO: "Always Ready, Always There". ALWAYS!

Citizen soldiers started a nation with the shot heard around the world. They will protect it too. They took the same oath I did as a lawyer. To protect and defend the constitution of the United States of America. Not the government, the constitution that formed it. Military and militia forces have fought for the people of this country. Thank you Three Doors Down. This is awesome!! My judge who I worked for was in the National Guard. He retired as a colonel. Thank you National Guard too!!

Enterprise you will get tired of being tanked for your service after you seen your friends die around you and how you will get left behind ( the story we get back our men is fake ) we get back our valueable men that have informations about a operation or something of great value -- many USA marines get left behind if captured they alwasy retrive their important assessts not all soldiers thats what infantrie is ( BTW NATO WANTS TO CREAT A CIVILLIAN EUROPEAN ARMY FOR THEIR RUSSIAN WAR ALSO TEH 1ST PLAN WAS TO ENROLL ALL NATO NATIONS BUT THEY CHANGED THERI IDEA IN EUROPEAN ARMY ITS FORMED FROM REAL CIVILLIANS WITH THE SO CALLED "VOLUNTEER ENROLL" BUT THE ENROLL IS ACTUALLY MANDATORY FOR THE ONES WHO CAN FIGHT BETWEEN 20-35 YEARS OLD ALSO FOR TRAINING THEY TAKE YOU FROM 18-35 AND THE MILLITARY SERVICE STARTS AT 20 YEARS OLD MEANING THE TRAINING CAN BE FROM 18-20 OR 18 WITH 6-8 MONTHS - THE ARMY THEY WANT TO BUILD IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL ARMY ITS A CIVILLIAN RECRUIT ARMY BECAUSE THEY FEAR RUSSIA AND WITH NUMBERS YOU DON'T WIN WARS ... YOU NEEDS STRATEGIES TO DO SO AND TACTICTS)

No hateful comments on this video please. If you live in America, it's the men and women who serve in the military who give you the right to sit behind your computer screen and say whatever you want. If, for some reason, you are opposed to America's military, keep it to yourself. There are tons of people out there that have friends and family serving, the least you could do is keep your negative comments out of their lives. We all have a lot to thank our soldiers for.

Loved the video and the song brought back some memories, both good and bad, of the time I served. Enlisted Dec 19, 1963 into the US Army and finally hung up my spur Apr 1, 1992 as a Citizen Soldier from the Ida Air National Guard as an E-6. Damn Proud to have served.

+Blackguard 3:16 Brother I was active for 6 years, all Army. Joined the Guard in 1974 and when I retired in 1992 as an E-6 I was credited with 38 years of service. AND, BROTHER, I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT! May the Great Spirit watch over you and yours and guide all your steps for all eternity. US Combat Veteran: Vietnam, '68-'69; Door gunner, A Co. 228th ASHB, 1st Cav. Div. (AM) and former Armored Cavalry Scout (19D30) and damned proud to have served and would do it again if this wonderful country and its people ever needed me because my oath of enlistment does not have an expiration date. (However, not under BHO and his Socialist Regime.) Enlisted into the Army Dec. 20, '63 and retired from the Id. Air National Guard Apr. 1, '92 as an E-6. Its good to see songs honoring service men and women who are defending their homes and fighting for what they beleive in. There's been too much talk of people disrespecting people who volunteered to give the ultimate sacrifice by people who hasn't even done anything for their country except to cry and complain and ask for more.

Semper Fi! The US Military, the best of the best. I can't wait to fight along side my future brothers and sisters, defending this country from terrorism, both foreign and domestic. By domestic I mean our shit government, but the citizens of this country, I will defend with my life and fight until the very end.

The military is what you make of it and it takes a special person to stand up and accept that challenge. I have seen combat and I would go back anytime in order to keep my family and friends safe here at home. I praise all that have served and will serve. I am a career soldier with almost 21 years in now and I don't see an end to this anytime soon.

This video makes me proud. Not only the sacrifice they have gave. But their courage. I am happy to say one day I will be in that uniform. Maybe with a green beret? But lets not get ahead our selves. Democracy is worth fighting for! And by god I will give my life for all of the men, women and children in this country and all of our allies.

Thanks to all the Guardsmen out there. You guys have it harder than us active duty folks do, sometimes; you get less training and/or practice to do the same job than we do. And on top of that, you can get called up during a local emergency. All sorts of strings have to be pulled to get us out there in uniform.
