I was in this video, as a Colonial Militia Man. It was great fun, and the director, Antoine Fuqua, chose those of us who had the most period correct clothing, and gear, to be nearest the camera locations. He wanted this film to be as authentic as possible, and it was a pleasure to work with him!

@@kahoaliiaiu7130 don't know if the 31 ASVAB score was sarcasm, but Grunts are some the most intelligent people you'll find. We're sometimes not the smartest though. Grunt life isn't anything like you see on TV, but there's nothing like it!!! Take care of your back, knees, and feet lol

The director sounds familiar, didn't he direct Training Day and The Equalizer films?

Where and when was it filmed? I remember this playing before movies in theaters in 2007. I remember seeing it when I went to see I am Legend

This really speaks about us in the medical field as citizen soldiers especially in the year 2020 (last year) with many of my colleagues dying to save lives. It still pains me to see what had happened but at the same time gives me hope to keep going in the career path I chose. 🙏🏼

I was Army Reserves, but this song played and still plays out to the mantra of being a citizen soldier. Most of all, this song is what got many folks like me from High School to enlist. You'll never see a riveting ad like this one.

I cringe at the fact that I used to enjoy this song as a kid. Taking a close look at the impact that US has made on vulnerable pockets of the world since WW2 makes me hope for a more equitable and peaceful world. One day, we can hopefully see ourselves as citizens of the globe and not just a fragment of it. Enough with the zero sum patriotism. It’s for thick headed and unimaginative bullies.
