The internet is busting with no-churn ice cream recipes, and it all starts with a basic base, two C. heavy whipping cream (whipped to medium soft peaks) one 14oz. C sweetened condensed milk (to replace cooked custard) and 1 tsp vanilla extract just like a ice cream maker would do, then the fun starts. Choose your ingredients, bust out the candies, crumble up those cookies and pour on the chocolate, it's all good. Getting creative with your ingredients is the key. When I was growing up, we had a small refrigerator with a freezer that was not big enough to accommodate ice cream with all the other items my mom stored so ice cream was one treat I desired, and that's when the love for making ice cream started, I'm making it a mission to create all kinds of ice cream my heart desires. Ice Cream is so easy to make, it all starts out with the base then once all your goodies are added your masterpiece is done, you freeze it 1/2 a day or up to several weeks and it's always ready to go. Ice Cream is perfect as a dessert when entertaining friends or just because when sitting in front of the tv (something I love to do 🤩) whatever the occasion you will have your own creation to enjoy in a cone, cup or bowl, who knows, just enjoy it!!! ❤
ICE CREAM BASE
2 C. heavy whipping cream
1- 14oz. C. sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla (optional)
ROCK ROAD ICE CREAM INGREDIENTS________
2 C. heavy whipping cream
1 14oz. can Sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 C. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 C. salted roasted almonds (chopped)
3/4 C. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 C. mini Marshmallows (cut in half)
STRAWBERRY COOKIES AND CREAM____
2 C. heavy whipping cream (cold)
1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk (cold)
1 tsp vanilla
1 Pint fresh strawberries ( chopped and crushed)
1 3/4 C. Golden Oreo minis cookies (broken in pieces)
Hershey's double chocolate syrup (optional)
● (you can add 1 to 2 drops red food coloring for more color) if desired
Nutter Butter M&M's Ice Cream______
2 C. heavy whipping cream (cold)
1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk (cold)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 C. Nutter butter bites (cut into pieces)
1/4-1/2 C. m&m's (plain)
Hershey's chocolate syrup (optional)

My mum, who died 6 weeks ago at the age of 99, used to make ice cream when I was a kid using the same cream and condensed milk mixture before ice cream machines were around . The recipe has been around for decades.

Omg, Rachel. This ice cream is AhMazing! Using what I had at home I made a pineapple coconut ice cream! Its heavenly! I added the 1tsp of vanilla and about 3/4tsp of coconut extract. Then I threw some sweetened coconut flakes in my food processor to keep the pieces really small. Next I opened a can of pineapple tidbits. I added a good amount if those too. But I cut each piece into 3 pieces to keep it small too. Haagen Dazs makes a pineapple coconut ice cream I am obsessed with. This tastes better! Thank You for sharing these recipes. I made this yesterday. The "custard" is a work of magic! I made one chocolate - and then crushed some Girl Scout thin mint cookies in it. It's FABULOUS. I also made a batch of strawberries and added some Chambord for an adult "kick". BEYOND DELICIOUS. I don't think I will be buying ice cream from the market ever again.
