I’m curious if you have used Camera Raw in photoshop instead of light room. Also before I bring an image into photoshop I used DXO Pure Raw to remove the noise. Have you ever tried that? I love your style and am trying to figure out what aspects of your process line up with my workflow. Thank you.

Yes, once I go into Photoshop, I usually use camera raw to make any additional tweaks before taking it back into a Lightroom. However, sometimes I take it back into Lightroom and then realize there’s something else I want to do. I do try to keep my workflow simple and so using camera raw is a great way to do that. I shoot with a pretty high pixel image and don’t typically shoot with high ISO so I don’t have an issue with noise if I do I typically use the denoise in Lightroom or I may use topaz product if I have to.

Hi Lori. Around 7min you did the Mac, Cmd-Option-Shift-E. You ended up with a New Background Layer. I do that I get Layer 2. Why the difference? Confused me.

@@kevindickinson1541 great question. I was confused too. I’ve been getting that recently. I did reset my Photoshop menu and that may be causing it. What you’re getting is correct
