You really are the best. You have inspired me in so many ways! I have been a vegan for 50 years, but I’ve gotten very lazy in my old age, often eating vegetarian because it’s just more convenient. But your videos have motivated me in ways I can’t express. Thank you so much. You are a gem. A real treasure. ❤

Off-topic, your emerald and diamond ring is gorgeous! Don’t know if it’s new or I just noticed because it’s glowing in today’s video! Will absolutely be doing all of these recipes - love black beans too. But the best part is seeing a kid grab the fridge door asking for carrots! 🥕 💕

Aren't we supposed to rinse Quinoa? Maybe it's optional? Your recipes and methods are SO inspirational!
@leapintothewild3 ай бұрын
@@VernedaTroyer Some come pre-rinsed, but I do it anyway - but I’m a cynic who rinses all rice, dried beans and even supposedly thrice-rinsed packaged greens... 😆 Regardless, rinsing it a few times helps prevent bitterness, so I figure more is better.

If using frozen mango, would it be about 1.5 cups (for the first recipe)? Thanks for the new ideas.

If you are adding the juice from the can of black beans, why rinse them?

Table salt has little nutritional value. Celtic or Himalayan salt is recommended. Supermarkets Himalayan salt do come with a grinder. Celtic salt without the free flowing agents is the best as it contains all the nutritional elements the body needs.
