I'm a bit late though... but... I do it on my freighter... I have 1 corner with 5 refiners and it is solely used for the goo... I'll just send What ever I pick up to my freighter and just load it in the refiners when I'm there... im never in a rush and I just move all the goo piles from refiner to refiner... and since I send all of it to my freighter i usually got 5k or more waiting to be added to the refining process hahahaha Its time consuming but it is a great side hussle

Easiest way is just load up on quest from 20+ stations with scan this, scan that for units/nanites and the same with kill animals/sentinels (don't bother with the kill a single pirate unless you can get a lot of em) then just continue to explore, also get 3 scanner upgrades for your multitool will have tons of cash while farming those nanite quests

Also you can refine runaway mold and pugneum! You get the mold from refining residual goop to vicious fluids to living skin and then runaway mold. 4097 mold gives you 2000 nanites.

If you fly your ship upwards and get passed the first asteroid belt, then turn around, the eggs will have respawned when you land. Using this method I can gather almost 8,000 Nanite Clusters in about 10 minutes (this is with a larger Abandoned Building and not those smaller 1 room buildings)

The best way to get larval cores is to dig an angled hole under the eggs with you terrain manipulator and then shoot them from underneath, the cores will drop down to you and the horrors will not attack you underground. Dig your holes under all the “nests” before you attack with your mining beam, and when you’ve cleared each one, jet pack to the next. You can clear an abandoned building in a few minutes.

Or place a base, build 4 walls around them and jump from one to another. Fly away and back, you can keep track of the spot cause you have a base there now. When you're done, gather your walls and base cpu and bye bye birdies :)

Also for the record. They've changed the horror's pathing a bit in the Beyond update a bit. I've found that if you jump in your ship rather than jump inside, it bugs out the horror's subsideing digging. They won't be able to dig down about 50% of the time and will just wander around. You can then pop the eggs and grab the loot at your leisure safely.

Also, good way to harvest Larval cores is to stand next to a group of Whispering Eggs and make a pit in the ground using terrain manipulator. Get into the pit, shoot eggs and collect cores. Rinse and repeat, easy!

when gathering Laval cores, you can either dig a tunnel under the eggs and shoot them from there and the eggs just roll to you (dig all of the tunnels under the eggs first before you start shooting them). You can't be got while in the tunnel or just fly up to the top of the building and either shoot the aliens from there or wait it out - you can use your mining beam to save ammo if you decide to shoot them.

You can also find Salvaged Technology pretty easy and refine those into nanites. One stack of 15 salvaged technology refines into 225 nanites. Just use your visor scanner to look for the symbol that looks like a WiFi signal and dig it up with your terrain manipulator.

With those larval cores I'd always just use the terrain manipulator and dig right under them and pick them up that way, the enemies very rarely will go down there with you.

A much better way to get those lava cores is to shoot a deep hole around or underneath them using your Terrain Manipulator, then, go into the hole, shoot them with your mining beam. They will then roll down to hole where you are and the Biological Terrors cannot get you. I saw someone had did this on KZbin and tried it and it worked!

I went to all the stations and check the Trading Terminals. Search for Slimy Goops and Pugneum and buy tons of them by hitting the left arrow and buy the whole lot. Note down the station that you buy from and they will regenerate after a few hours. After you have buy tons of them, go back to your base and refine them. For Pugneum, they turn into nanites, for slime goop they refine into thicker slime, then living slime, then mould and lastly nanites. And they take time to refine, so you can throw the lot of them into the refinery and just leave them there and you go do something else and return after some time and collect the rewards. One trip I estimate make a thousand nanites. Plus your methods, maybe more. Another way, is the old school way, either you can buy platinum to refine them or setup farms to mine gold and silver and refine them into platinum and then into nanites. But the ratio from platinum to nanites is huge, 35:1, hence may not be profitable. But it's passive income. If you are adventurous, for the larva core collection, you can running round the factory collecting the larvas while the horrors are chasing you. I normally stops at 3 larva cores then I hide on the roof or run away.

I suggest gathering three of the eggs at a time. Using the mining laser to weaken each egg first, then they pop fast when you're ready to get the eggs. Also, killing sentinels and refining the pugneum gets a nanite cluter for every 10 pugneum refined. I heard that you can build at an abandoned building to corral the horrors as well. I would have liked to see an example of that in this video!

Crash the economy on tech mods at a station. By tech mods from ships at that station until inventory is full. Teleport to another station and sell all of them to the ships. Go back to the crashed economy station and buy more tech mods from ships at that station until full rinse and repeat. In order to start this,you want a couple million to buy tech mods from ships and sell to station trade hub. That is how you crash it. Once you get to about -80% you are good...depending on how many slots you have in your inventory and cargo, you will make rediculous amounts of units dude!!! Spent a day doing this last weekend and got 100mil units with this method

Easier for the cores, plop down a base computer, claim base, build walls around all egg clusters, harvest eggs, delete base, but manually delete all the walls to get 100% of resources back, buils a salvage capsule once in a while to get most of the chromatic metal back.

For the larval cores I set up a base and build walls around the eggs. If I'm traveling through I will just destroy the walls and recoup the materials, just take the loss on the base module when I delete it. But I have a couple permanent basis that I can revisit when the larval cores respawn.

I like to stack scan/slay/feed missions, a single scan will credit any scan missions you have, same with kill/feed missions. And those missions are not system specific so can be completed on any planet. You will need a good collection of space stations to teleport to 1st, but the rep rewards make it more than just earning nanites, making it, for me, a better option than farming eggs or other things that refine into nanites. Play on :)

If you really want to have some good evil fun (hehe), get a big stack of both feed and kill fauna missions, go to a planet, start a feeding frenzy, then when all the feed missions are complete, go on a killing spree :D (and keep a few "kill sentinel" missions as well, your murderous rampage will likely piss off the locals)

Few more ways: -Kill sentinels (Grenade launcher for easy kills), very fast but you need a huge inventory for it to be very efficient. Store all the pugneum and break the barrel they drop every time. -Buy platinum and refine it (also super fast if you went into multiple wealthy systems), got about 8-10k in about 20 minutes. It's pretty boring though to be honest. -Upload your milestones with Polo. Great during early game especially.

You can just plop down a Base Computer near an Abandoned Building and then build walls around the egg spawns (leave one group of eggs open), then shoot one of the open eggs, collect it, and then just fly into the boxes you've built and collect all the eggs inside safely. Going inside is only necessary for the remaining one or two eggs of the open group. This is a lot faster than collecting them individually and waiting inside everytime until the spawn subsides.

One more good way to make nanite clusters early in the game, is fixing the damaged machinery. Usually takes just 10-15 pure ferrite, 15-20 cobalt or 20-25 chromatic metal

@@stufish9 Its called a hyperdrive companion unit and it requires a vykeen rank of 8 or higher to purchase. The cost is 800 nanites and its the only thing I don't have yet. I had not realized though that on the space stations the other stuff they sell also costs nanites.

@@corthew You can buy endless upgrades for your suit, vehicles, ships and tool. S grades are around 580 and you need at least 3 per tech you wanna boost. You also can't salvage upgrades so if you get a new ship or tool, you'll have to start all over. So happy hunting, you gonna need more than a few hours :)

You missed a fourth way that's so easy and quick... Walk around a planet and fix the damaged machines laying around everywhere. 30nanites per machine average, consumes a few oxygen or sodium or whatever but you get to visit you can scan around etc... If you use an exo vehicle is even faster.

Yeah, but that is some intense work. I would put that close to scanning plants and animals. You get the nanites but it can take a while to get the same amount as you would from refining larval cores.

Yep terrain manipulator is your friend. Slope the tunnel from the eggs downward at an angle. The cluster will roll down to you. I angle all the tunnels towards a middle spot under the building then you can do all the eggs and don’t have to wait for the swamp to die down! Like the videos👍👍

I tried digging beneath them and it never really worked for me xD they don't attack but they will push me all over the place when I'm under the eggs xD and if they push me out of the way while I want to grab the eggs xD xD xD What I do these days... clear 1 little cluster with 2 or 3 eggs and jump around the building... usually j can grab 3 eggs before they reach me and I just go around to the other side again xD and rinse and repeat... @@JasonPlaysNMS You have to get about 15u away. The sentinel walkers usually aren't in your face too. The trick is to not use it on the first few sentinels that aproach you. Just use your pulse spitter or something on them. Their movements are to eratic and they are to small to aim correctly at. I'll tell you though. If you see a sentinel quad... they die in one shot of the plasma launcher. The five star fight is over in about 20 seconds if you decide to collect the barrels afterwards.

If you buy a new ship it will become your current equiped ship. Any ships you buy will be put in your freighter, so check in there to see them. If you exchange ships then the old ship will disappear once you leave the system or you reload a save. I would check your freighter

Hmmmm. Get a little farther, you will get a free freighter. When you warp into a new system, maybe like the 3rd or 4th time you will see a freighter under attack. Help it out and they will let you have the freighter for free. Only works the first time but you get a free one

Just use ur terrain manipulator to dig a pit around the eggs. Put yourself in that hole under the nests and shoot them. The eggs will drop down to you and the horrors cant get you in a pit. They may attack from time to time down there but out of doing like over 50 of these buildings theyve only got me killed once doing this ☝. Dig pits!!! So much faster!!!
