My pro tip: The Best way to earn milestones for Planet Zoology is to find rare planets (cabled, bladed, hexagonal, ECT). They usually have only one or two animal species on them and after scanning them count for a whole planet, instead of grinding on habitable for 12 or more animals.

I do appreciate the video defintly need more people like you on here. Since no mans sky does not hold your hand and the other videos basically assume that your already at a certain point or expect you to keep up with them. When they are cutting hours of gameplay off. Which isn't bad but only really helps veteran players. Like no one tells you hey if you attack this ship you will be labeled a pirate making trade impossible. Some things that are important is take the time to learn the languages there not hard just takes time. Its literally run up to one stone to the next. Reason it's important is becouse it is maddening, when you play for over 50 hours only ever seeing there weird text. Sometimes you get English but it's not like you feel like your conversing with anyone your basically playing a guessing game. My guy has literally screamed at people to startle them becouse he couldn't understand them. Imagine being a ailen at a station and some strange ailen comes at you that you've never meet and screams at you. And all you did was look a little upset. But the game does have so much more life to it now. If your really having trouble getting parts on your first planet for your ship. My tip is simple every planet is programmed by the prodecule generation thing to have a aubendunce of Na and O2. So dont worry if you've traveled far from your ship just make sure you never go over 1,000 before your ship gets off the ground. Becouse you will be walking back. And some tricks for glitches that I've learned since playing this from day 1. If your freightor is red and the doors are shut it means it was attacked and is falsely recognizing you as a enemy. Dont attack it to try and pry the doors open, simply boost to a empty space hit down on the road and summon it. If someone gives you a quest and it says there in a different area and there not there dont freak out or try to mess with anything or reload a save ext. Simply end the quest there are thousands for you to do it will not hurt you I promise and it's pretty rare but happens. Once you get decent weapons sentinels are not your friends or the galaxy police they have absolutely no authority. And no there are not unlimited numbers on a planet so dony worry the waves will end eventually. If it doesn't there's a reason your ship comes with lasers and missiles it's not to look pretty. And if you cant reach somewhere like a mountain theres a reason your multitool has a feature that adds earth it's not so you can write I was here on a planet. Even though several of the planets I found has it. Oh and I dont like fortnight but ome of my best tricks is to use the earth as a way to block the lasers from sentinels and hostile aliens. As well as trapping a sentinel so it only has 2 directions to go is hilarious, I gave it a tiny hole so it could watch me do all my evil deeds in front of it, it was my revenge for all the times they got me for simply shooting a tree.

Oh I went through a ton of testing for the past 6 months. Now I have a kind of outline of where to place them when I get them and have the space. I have started fresh saves multiple times and I generally remember where to put what. Kinda OCD I guess lol

@@JasonPlaysNMS It's all good, minor error. Another good tip for ferrite dust is refining rusty metal. 1:2 rusty to dusty, then onward as usual! Gets you the same volume as you started with of magnetised. (Scratch, reverse, not 2:1 but 1:2 ratio of rusty to dust!)

For PC, it's the X button...but how did you move the sun? I didn't know about this way to pause, cool. I've found multiple species on space stations...console, no? I thought the terrain manipulator's putting land back was powerful too, e.g., you can't get into you door, and you don't have stairs? Add land! Then take a little away, it tends to flatten it. Lastly, mining deposits when you have to, I tunnel under the side, and the sentinels don't know what to do either, so it protects from the environment, and them too...relaxing. I lost all my emeril and so much more, when I bought a better freighter, so I had to mine some...

How do I get or build a terrain manipulator? I don't have one, and I don't know the schematic. How do I upgrade my mining beam? It says that I need advanced or something to gather larger crystals. Are these things I would need to go to a space station to buy? I haven't found or learned any upgrades for my scanner, so I can't yet maximize the units I get for uploading scans.

I play as the Anomaly race and I have the Gek Battle Helmet. It is a community event helmet so you will have to wait to get it. Hopefully they start up the community events again with the Beyond Update.

I found a vay keen observation station few days ago, and the puzzle's bugged. I finished the number sequence correctly but it says nothing found right after. And guess what, i can repeat the number sequence again. So i did this 100 times now my vay keen standing is maxed but any other observation station is also bugged like this. Rip blueprints.

I only bought No Man Sky because it came with VR. And I'm surprised at how well the controls in VR handle. Its a proper VR game. Best part is you can play VR and Flat Screen on the same save file and same purchase of the game. In fact the VR part is totally free you just buy the base game and VR comes with it. Good thing it wasn't exclusive to Epic Games store because i wouldn't have known its on sale or bought it. Since Epic Games Store is a no go No Mans Land similar to the Great War (WW1).
