Yes I have used the disposable Clorox toilet cleaners and I too had a love-hate relationship with them. They worked well but they are pretty expensive and it seems so wasteful all these disposable products that make so much garbage. I went back to the brush and liquid cleaner and I store the brush in some bleach and water. Your ideas look better and I'm going to try them. Thank you!

I love the shaving cream hacks for two reasons. I always keep the container on the sink by my husband's area. I clean my tolet but I also remind my husband to shave without saying anything.

When I emptied a Febreeze bottle I wondered what I had on hand to make my own poo pouri. I mixed 91% rubbing alcohol with peppermint extract and it works great as a deodorizer/germ killer. I also fill the toilet brush holder deep enough to cover the bristles. You can do this with mouth wash but, I wouldn't recommend it since mouthwash contains sugar which is another mess that has to be addressed. Thank you for sharing your ideas!!! ☮️😂🙏✝️🙌🎄🤜

If one uses much bleach very often, wouldn't bleach destroy needed microbes that eat up sewage in one's sewage tank?

It might if it is a sewage tank. Check with the manufacturer of the sewage tank. I grew up in the mountains and we had a sewage tank that had to be emptied by a truck every (I think) 6 months.

Omg I LOVE nearly all these tips tysm! I havent had anyone really teach me cleaning hacks and as a young adult its actually sorta fascinating once in a while to learn some more cleaning tips here and there that i didnt know about or think of before. Me and my bf have been in an apt for over a year and I didnt even realize about cleaning the toilet brush/holder until recently cuz its turning brown and looks so nasty and unsatisfactory to even clean the toilet anymore now cuz my brush has fecal residue from the cleanings prior to it. Didnt even know about soaking it in the toilet and an easy way to air dry it by having the toilet seat hold it. The bonus tips with the shaving cream and febreze fabric softener are also definitely interesting to me ill probably give those a try as well. I know these cleaning hacks might seem obvious to most and theyve been lucky enough to be taught properly so it comes naturally but I didnt get that growing up but its so exciting and great to learn about it now! Thank you so much!!!
