Everything on here is brilliant, I’m on their program and apart from having a broken foot from being dumb, I’ve never been fitter or healthier!

The Pistol and Kurtsy are tough ones! I just ordered a TRX kit and plan to practice the Pistol with the TRX. As for the Kurtsy, it seems like you can hurt your ankle if you miss-step? I'll have to search for a video that explains the technique. I been doing the Bulgarian split for a long time and I believe it has helped my riding in the Climbing department. I also think for MTB unilateral training is more beneficial. Good stuff!!

Interesting that you posted this- I just got a TRX last week (old one got chewed up by our dog…) and I really can’t go very far into the pistol squat without it. Yet…

Great scaling option by using the TRX. Use as little help as you can but also, very importantly, try to keep the mechanics of the pistol that which will help unassisted ones in the future. What I mean by this is try not to lean back too much and "hang" off the TRX, instead try to lean your chest forwards and get your balance point established before you need any help.

I struggle with pistol squats. When I get to the bottom I fall back onto my butt. It’s so frustrating… 😖

I hear your pain. Try putting your heel on a plate and/or holding a weight in outstretched arms to counter balance yourself. Also, work ankle mobility before

I'm sure that's very subjective, unfit in your eyes might be super fit in others. The important thing is you're getting somewhere. Keep it up!
