Never snowshoed in Lake Tahoe but when hubby and I had a log cabin in Fawnskin, CA, across the lake from Big Bear, we snowshoed there. We followed the back roads that were closed in the winter. It was absolutely fabulous to break snow and enjoy the peacefulness.

I'm in washoe valley, I love snow! it looks great in your videos also on postcards... but I spent two days this fri/sat/ digging out the driveway. I like looking at snow tho. great content as usual

I havent done Mt Tallac yet! i know its one of the more challenging hikes in the area but it looks beautiful 💙

@@GabriellaViola The south face of Tallac has one of the best spring wildflower blooms in the Tahoe area and the views from the top are spectacular!

Hi Christine, i think most snowshoes are the same but i could be wrong, i used to just rent them and they come with poles too..like $20 for the day!

It always depends of the year, its almost Christmas and you still dont need snowshoes, usually by Feb its pretty deep depending on the year
