3 FEET of Snow with the GoPro Hero 9! | Lake Tahoe Snowboarding

We never thought winter would come but it’s finally here and it delivered A LOT of snow! 3+ feet to be exact - and all we want to do is SNOWBOARD! We had the best powder day in a long time at Heavenly Resort and then checked out one of our favorite mountains, Kirkwood! Check out the endless face shots and tomahawks lol :) Enjoy!

Also, you using lav mics in this to an external recorder? Your audio is crispy. Been toying with the idea of lavs on the mtn but haven’t tried

Road trip 100%! Let me know. As for the mics man this is honestly ALL just regular old internal GoPro audio with some tweaking in post. If you look closely you'll see Victoria's hero 8 has a "bandaid" on it. Basically just taped some foam over the microphones with moleskin to help with the wind noise. It worked alright except for when the wind was really ripping.

I think it’s the longboarding mentally where I tend to lean back to turn and end up catching my heel. We just got back from Steamboat picked the perfect week to go with all the fresh snow. The wind was crazy too for us. They closed several areas of the mountain, Looks like so much fun I am ready to go back. How you get the GoPro batteries to last ours died so fast in the cold.
