I love Boomerang. I use it for two cases: 1) When I get an email that I don't want to see now but at a later date. 2) Telling my boss I'm (fake) sick and not coming in. Instead of forcing myself to wake up really early saying I woke up sick, I'll schedule an email to be sent at said early time, while I actually peacefully sleep away lol

I find your video's very helpful. I am coming from the outlook world and am learning what I can for G:Mail. I have to admit that I am not a big fan but I'm trying. Question that I have is there a way that you can change the subject in an email and High-lite it? I was able to do this in outlook and it really made finding things like paid bills easy.

Question about Assistant.to: what if you email someone a handful of options and they are taking a few days to choose. Meanwhile, you are eagerly awaiting their selection so that you can know how you will be filling up those remaining unchosen time slots. Let's say you end up needing to utilize one of those unchosen time slots for another event before the first person chooses--does this automatically update in the first email you sent or do you have to manually send the first person another email saying, "abc time slot will no longer work for me, please do not choose that one."

Great question. The receiver of your email will be notified that that spot is no longer available if they choose that particular time slot. Since Assistant.to connects to your calendar, it will never double book time slots.

Hello great video quick question any apps you know that would automatically show the CC and BCC and expand those fields in gmail compose box? Gmelius used to offer it but they took it away and Boomerang does not offer that feature Just trying to save a few clicks with every email if at all possible Looking forward to your reply

If you add an event to your calendar after sending someone an Assistant.to meeting invite and that meeting invite gets scheduled at the same time as your event, will you get an alert of some kind that warns you of two overlapping events?

Assistant.to syncs with your calendar so it will prevent double-bookings. i.e. if the receiver selects a time slot that is no longer available, they will receive such a message.

I would recommend creating these types of emails in Google Docs and then copying and pasting it into your Gmail message. All of the formattings should carry over properly.

??If you use assistant to set up times for a meeting - and you are sending to 2 different people for 2 different meetings but you sen dthe same times to both . onces one person selects a time will it then block off the time for the person who got to the email last and wants the same time as the first?

Thanks for your videos! They are super helpful. I actually had no idea that gmail has a snooze button. I wish that gmail had an option to do some of the features that I used within outlook. For example, when an email was sent only to me, or from a certain person, I could color code it. This made things easier for me to navigate through emails that were the most important. Does anyone know if gmail has any similar feature?

What about the security? Installing boomerang from their website, isn't it a security risk? It asks for access of read / write emails. And emails can have sensitive information. How safe is it, to enable a third-party to be able to read all your emails?

Great question. It's true, that most add-ons will require full access to your email account. I recommend doing your research, read reviews, and decide if you wish to grant this type of access.

Why is there no 'resend' button? Outlook has a resend capability, but resending an email in its original form requires opening 3 windows, and several mouse clicks. Why does no one support a one-click 'resend'?

Thank you for your video. I really find them enjoyable and informative. They are very easy to view and a positive entrance to software that I never knew existed. I tried assisstant.to. It would be a great extension for me to use every day. Unfortunately, when I tried to login I was in a continuous loop. I could not get past the login screen. Contacted Marshall at Customer Support at Cirrus Insight . After several emails he suggested that we "E meet" using assistant.to. Got his email with his available time but could not select a time because I was just looping around the link. Before and after, I contacted Marshall, I uninstalled and reinstalled assistant.to and got the same thing. I gave up. If I had so much trouble with the extension and no resolution, I was not able to share this extension with others. not sure if I am the only one with this problem. I've given up.

This tool is handy if you want an email, for example, to go out on Wednesday... but your drafting your email on Monday (maybe you're going to be out of the office on Wednesday). Say for a one day sale on Wednesday... or you're spacing your emails out so the don't get them all on one day... or you want them to get a reminder email about an event for Thursday.
