Great comp. vid. Arai all the way. Love the retro helmets look, but on the real, retro style comes w/ retro performance. Doesn't seem ya can avoid that.

So I checked out the logo on the Biltwell Gringo SV ... and ... well the logo is actually under the gloss finish. So unfortunately you can't peel it off. I say just get some stickers to cover it!

@@caferacernewyorkcity I have 2 of the S ECE 22.06 models, one has the flames and the other is candy red. Then I have a metallic silver S ECE. The style is perfect for me, I ride a 2019 Triumph Street Scrambler (900), a red one. I love the old school simplicity, I’m 57, and I’ve found they do just fine at highway speeds, for me that’s 65 - 75 MPH. The newer versions fit snug, which is how I like my helmets to fit. Thanks!

Really great, but expensive, helmets. I plan to do a video on them soon! They are actually very quiet considering it is a retro style helmet.

Upside: I like your presentation. Thank you. Downside: I don't think you showed any retro style helmets. All three had ventilation protrusions. For me a retro style helmet is like the AGV I bought 1978. It's rounded and smooth without anything that will catch the asphalt and rip my head off in a lowside crash.

Ah got you. You are right that the technical a "retro helmet" is an older helmet with no ventilation vs a "retro style" helmet is a modern helmet with retro looks! There are modern ones out there like the Hedon helmets or Ruby Helmets, but I think for that price point you could get an Arai helmet.
