You are a great story teller! I have been to German Church Road back in the late 80's. There was an old abandoned house that we walked thru what was left of it, I should say. We had to leave because we kept hearing foot steps behind us no matter where we walked. Got alittle spooked. Can't wait for your next video!

Really love your videos!! Its refreshing to see these locations & hear the corresponding stories & the various beliefs in what people think is taking place there. I love anything connected to the paranormal, but have grown tired of the over dramatized & exaggerated videos most post as content soley for bigger followings & higher view counts. This routine has taken any progress that was made in trying to understand the possibility of the paranormal & is gradually returning it right back to the mockery it once was. Your presentations are just the opposite IMO. The locations are shown during the daylight hours along with the alleged sightings & stories that surround them. When returning to the locations during the evening hours, very little is needed to describe how creepy they are. There's no need for additional sound effects or jump scares, etc. The stories & how they are presented do it all for you. Thank you again for taking us with you to another paranormal hot spot. Its always a treat to see a new post from your channel. Its like one of those spur of the moment adventures that have the very real potential to qualify as one of those "scariest moments of my life" memories that so many of us are always up for. With the "scary" season around the corner your videos are a great way to kick off my favorite time of the year!!!❤

Great video! I live right off County Line rd, right by German Church rd. I walked around the old house on the corner, and have heard many stories about that house, it was abandoned in the 60s. I believe that house is somehow linked to the Grimes sisters murder. Archer woods is highly underrepresented in the paranormal community and lives in the shadow of Bachelors Grove. IMHO, Archer woods is a younger sibling of Bachelors Grove, and will eventually get the recognition of Bachelor's Grove. I've been to Archer Woods many times, it has an abandoned, cast off feel. I have heard some moaning in Archer Woods in the area where you drive in and hang a slight right, there are a bunch of really tall oak trees with graves interwoven between there. I have a feeling that area is a hot spot among others in that cemetery.
@StrangeandSinister1Ай бұрын

Fantastic episode! I used to love hearing Richard Crowe's stories about Chicago's paranormal activity. You really have a great channel!🙏👻 That cemetery seems like it would be really scary and spooky!😬👻 Your episode on Resurrection Mary was really good too! For some reason I'm drawn to Chicago's ghostly activity, more than other places. I lived next to a haunted cemetery back in 1979 in Farmington, New Mexico. Alot of spooky things I personally witnessed. From a woman crying late at night outside my mom's window, to actual apparitions in daytime hours, to even a ghostly hearse disappearing through the locked gates of the cemetery late at night. It simply vanished.

Thanks for sharing this I have not only been to all this places, I have connections to Archer woods (my family is buried there and I was told my great grandfather owned that property before it was purchased and established as archer woods) and had an experience there as well as did my parents and kids. @andreajanota6258Ай бұрын
@@StrangeandSinister1 no I haven’t but I did have an incident I could best describe as a ghost car. Because of the unique shape of the cemetery you can see all cars coming and going from the cemetery easily the fact that it pulled up behind us out of no where suddenly and it was gone by the time we got to the end of the driveway there was no one there and the only entrance to get into the other part of the cemetery was blocked by out car and we were across from the front gate there was no where it could go without us seeing it was just gone as fast as it came it was old fashioned looking. My parents had an encounter with a strange individual there who came out of no where picked up my great aunts tombstone and moved it and then walked off to where they didn’t see. Though her gravestone is frequently moved. My mom had more things happen there as her grandparents are buried there she’s been there more often.

The Ghost Light of Maple Lake really struck a cord in me. At the 13:00 mark you mention a baby at the site and reminds me of Cajun folktales (I'm originally from Louisiana). In Louisiana, we have the Feu Feuillet (Fuh Foo-Ley). Strange lights that people see in the swamps at night. In Cajun folklore, the Feu Feuillet are considered to be the souls of unbaptized babies. They are apparently considered dangerous. To avoid them, you stick a knife into a tree, where they're drawn to the reflection.

Another extremely well done video 👍I particularly found the Maple Lake stories of interest. In elementary school, we had an annual field trip to the Little Red School House followed by a hike at Maple Lake. Throughout the 80s and early 90s as an adult, did a lot of fishing and chilling there. Only a couple night visits by the low cement wall area. For all that, I had never heard about the light/orb sightings. Probably a good thing lol. The pic of Richard…St. Casimir is where my family is buried. A cousin worked in grounds maintenance for Catholic Cemeteries. She’s had paranormal experiences at St. Casimir and Holy Sepulchre. Mostly the latter. Next I see her I will take some notes and pass along anything worthwhile. Stellar work from you, as usual. Thank you!
@StrangeandSinister1Ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing the stories. It seems like the Maple Lake light was seen more from the 50's into the 70's. I believe Anna Norkus (girl said to be Resurrection Mary) is buried in St. Casimir. If you can relay some paranormal stories about either of the two cemeteries you mentioned that would be great. I known Holy Sepulchre is where the Miracle Child is buried, as well as the Grimes Sisters. I plan to cover the Miracle Child in a future ghost stories video.

@Sweetcorn97Ай бұрын
@StrangeandSinister1 I did not unfortunately, but they've granted people permission before and obviously anyone's welcome to mass. My experience went like this. I was hanging out with a girl at the time and it was about 1am on a Saturday, we both were interested in the paranormal and I had read about this place. We walked around the cemetary and didn't see anything out of the ordinary and shined a light into the basement windows that were part of the original foundation. We didn't see anything and were about to head out when I got a gut feeling to look back in one of the basement windows in the old part of the foundation. As we were looking 3 very distinct loud knocks came from the wall inside the room. No one was in the room and this was 1 am on a Saturday. We both heard it and got spooked and left fairly quickly.
@lisalouiseangonese9134Ай бұрын
I had to laugh when you said all you heard were the sound of crickets 😊 That is brutally honest but here's an idea you can bring an ovulus and other ghost hunting instruments where the sounds could be amplified. I have a feeling you should be able to pick up that crying and maybe more.
@StrangeandSinister1Ай бұрын
lol my friend laughed at that too. I might do that in a future video at another location but the channel is more focused on story telling than ghost hunting. I was so annoyed when I went there during the day because I really wanted to see if I could hear the crying but the landscaping noise was terrible from beginning to end. This seems to happen at every cemetery I visit. That's part of the reason I do voice overs. Without it, the audio is unusable most of the time.
