He always reminds me of the Albert where I used to work. We used to call him Uncle Al. He used to come in the morning to take down the chairs, in the afternoon to help tidy and in the evening to put the chairs up. He was an ex-boxer and completely insane. He'd come in at night drunk and stinking of booze and swear he didn't drink. R.I.P. Uncle Al and Buster Merryfield. You were both legends!

I've just been chuckling my head off for about the umpteenth time of watching these episodes. They never get old. the humour is priceless. To zoomzoom885 below, sorry I can't reply to comments for some reason, it was Del who fell through the bar, Trigger was left looking around wondering where Del had disappeared to, Del gets up from the floor completely embarrassed and tells Trig to drink up as they're leaving. Trig says "what about the girls?" (the posh totty they'd been eyeing up) and Del replies, "no, no they're not in our league" or something along those lines. 🤣

Exactly.. And that’s what pisses me off, the most! When you get corporate snowflakes like UK Gold and the BBC tampering with the show and deleting segments of scenes and some of them are absolutely hilarious! Like the episode “Hole in One”, where Rodney goes and spends the last of Trotters Independent Traders 500 quid.. And Rodney replies to Del: “You won’t give me no credit, will ya..” In the original release, Uncle Albert replies to Rodney and says: “Nor will that Paki.” Yet now the BBC and UK Gold tamper with the show and delete those types of scenes. For Pete’s sake! Just leave it alone and stop tampering with scenes, for “fear” of offending the snowflakes out there. People still call corner shops/off-licences “Paki shops”. You’ll never change that.
