I was just 1 inch far from my split and I had been trying to do a full split from almost a month without bending my knees and it helped a lot I finally did a perfect split thank you!

Powerlifter/Bodybuilder/Martial Artist here. Had Lyme disease 20+ years, reversing hip atrophy. These stretches are like cheat codes. Took my breath away and got light headed but already feeling amazing just from doing this one time. I was trying Jujimufu's (look him up, he's a 240+lb acrobat) chair split routine, and have been looking for ways to make my hips looser. This was exactly what I was looking for. Tight hips are my worst enemy

Hello Iam also learning to get my splits And straddle strech is very essential and extremely useful and it helps to increase flexibility of shoulders,spinal cord,hamstring. Watching and practicing Tutorials like seated straddle has helped me alot .

I'm a dancer with scoliosis (wich means my spine is curved) I new it made things more difficult but I never thought about it affecting my spilt.

Thank you so much! I feel more flexible and also I’m not a very flexible person and never was. I’m able to go a bit more down to my splits but not quite there. I’ll continue to do this every day I hope I’ll get my splits soon!

Awesome video !!! I am a fanatical tennis player, probably have hip impingement not severe yet, but I definitely have one hip less flexible. I saw your video as I googled the splits, knowing if I could do the splits my internal hip rotation has to be good as well as low back and other core muscles. Great exercises to help me get there !

What a great video 😍💖 I struggle with my stretching for many months, but I'm not a big fan of static stretching (let's be honest, I hate it😂) But these moving exercises, with active stretching are just for me! Can you also make a video of how to strengthen your hips for (let's say) walking. Or are these exercises good for strengthening the hips?

Practicing Mill pose and straddle stretching helps increases hip ,back/spinal cord legs shoulders flexibility . Seated straddle is essential for overall body Flexibility while keep in mind the body condition and health.

Hmmmm....I didn't feel anything in the tail bone area doing the 3rd stretch. Just felt it in my inner thighs. Any tips?

How far in front should the legs be after we sit on the sit bones ? If I allow my legs to be too close to me they lay flat on the ground.

I used to be able to do a split and stopped for years. I'm 18 now and cant do it anymore. Is there still hope or will I be potentially damage or hurt my body if I try again ? (I never used to dance by the way. I used to do them for fun)

Just make sure you're warm and go slowly. Regaining them as an adult is much much easier than achieving it for the first time. :)

What if my hips are desperately tight? I have been trying for 40 years, but my bones are closed and I can only split thanks to my muscles... But the butterfly position is impossible with straight back and so frustrating!!! I only got sciatic pain by straining my turnout!!!

Same thing here... 20 years of ballet and I have never been able to sit in butterfly position properly, and at this point I don't think I ever will. But the lizard circles were very very helpful tho

It’s the same for me the butterfly position is impossible for me with straight back i don’t why and what to do 😭 i can’t do the split my middle split is not bad but cannot do the butterfly position

Always interesting to hear how different bodies can be! I bet there are plenty of things that your body can do that mine can't; meanwhile, butterfly is the only thing I can always do easily and fully, even when I haven't stretched/in jeans etc.

Nothing is as useful as practicing straddle strech.for splits its nit just about legs flexibility but Flexibility of out spinal cord,shoulders,hemstrings and glutes r interconnected
