22 years ago I worked with some Ukrainians here in the UK, at that time they were obsessed with buying Lada Samara cars cheaply and driving them to Ukraine. They would have to convert them from right hand drive to left hand drive and repair any damaged panels etc. They were making money then (to my amazement) so I’m sure there is money still to be made today for the correct vehicles. However if there is one thing I have learnt in life, there is no such thing as easy money, no matter what you do, it will take a lot of stress, time and risk to turn a worthwhile profit.

Olga you hit the nail in the head! These are all businesses that my tram and I are working with between USA and Ukraine 😊 Some other ones are outsourcing/freelance job sourcing (HUGE business) and coaching/training on how education sources that are common I'm USA but more rare in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. For example, personal development is a $10 BILLION dollar industry mostly from USA. but is just now gaining momentum here Thanks for making such amazing content! 😊🇺🇲🇺🇦

Hello to Olya💐 a good friend of mine was re building Toyota Echos 2000-2005 models with low kilometres. Most had mild front end damage and didnt need straitening on frame machine. Vancouver BC doesnt have huge snowfall or heavily salted roads. Auto. Recycling is becoming rare as frame & auto body repair persons are aging and tough to find as we live in a disposable society here in Canada.

Olga Reznikova I've helped Friends in Ukraine as a 3ed party person in sending items that they might buy on eBay or from varied on line stores. In general they pay for the item and then have the item sent to me then they repay me for the mailing fee by way of western union. In the past I've sent Bags of candy, coffee, tea, nutella, canned fish, head & shoulders shampoo, lubraderm hand lotion, wrist watches, big rolls of yarn, varied articles of adult and childrens clothing, blankets, children's toys, hair curlers, electronic shavers, The largest item to date was a portable wardrobe that is assembled much like a tent using poles and a large zip up dust proof bag.

My ex-husband and I used to sell electronics on eBay and I don't remember if we shipped much to the Ukraine but we had a lot of problems with Russia, it took stuff forever to get through customs and many times items ended up missing or stolen, so we would lose money. BTW, he is 64 and I think he is looking for a Ukrainian bride after dumping me. From what my stepdaughter tells me the hot model aged 31 stood him up at the airport last month, so I think he got scammed. I do enjoy watching your videos though, and hopefully, no sweet Ukraine girl will fall victim to my ex.
@philipvernejules99265 жыл бұрын
.......stood him up at the airport? So he paid her fare I'm thinking but nobody meets first time at an airport these days and it was a known scam 40 years ago except for maybe the Philippines ( mail order )brides , but the whole thing had evolved from the penpal concept anyway..

@@philipvernejules9926 No, he flew to the Ukraine, Kiev. It is those pay per letter and phone call sites, I believe it was CharmDate . I don't know details, we don't speak, this is through my daughter. I think only the translator showed up. The model in the picture was probably fake all along.

Good ideas. But its not really easy actual doing it . Those products should through both side custom check up. Also having problems for taxes added. From purchasing products and delivery to Ukraine ( this is also controlled by both custom) and post office too. After all fees added, it could be more expensive than purchase in EU, as neighbor countries of Ukraine. Poland, Hungary etc....

So a decent used car (not a junk car) is around $12,000 USD (give or take a few thousand)and today that's 534,400 hryvnia. That doesn't include shipping, tariff, etc..Can the average person afford that over there? Then you have to make a profit... Tariff is 4.8% and shipping is anywhere from $2500 - $5500 depending on size of car. (from googling)
@Olga_Reznikova5 жыл бұрын
I didn't say used car, I said cars from auctions which cost cheap.
@samsantos98665 жыл бұрын
That's clearly said Cars from Auctions
@brent47705 жыл бұрын
Samuel Santos - even at auctions the price for a decent running car can get up there and then add tariff, shipping and profit. "As of April 2018, the average monthly wage in Ukraine is 7828.00 UAH per month, which is a little under 301 USD." I was just "realistically" seeing how this would work. We buy in USD and they pay in hryvnia and the average income is $300 a month??
@brent47705 жыл бұрын
So?? Do they get paid in dollars or euros? Not the people I met over there! Apparently none of you own a business! You just like popping off on the internet!

Hi Olga. One of your few videos which I disagree with. First comment, is you seem to be obsessed with USA! Your comment regarding Ukrainians not being interested in vehicles from Europe, only American vehicles. - I think anyone visiting Ukraine and observing the makes and models of cars will see very few American makes/models. Lots of Japanese, Korean, vast quantity of European makes and models. Plus the actual cost of shipping the cars from USA as apposed to western Europe which is right on the doorstep. Then, shipping goods from USA to Ukraine. I can see it for some consumer goods, clothing for example though import duties could easily make this unprofitable. However, for most electrical/electronic goods, it would be a crazy idea. You are aware that the voltage in the US is 110v and in Ukraine as in western Europe it is 220v? Good luck with plugging in an electrical appliance such as an iron/toaster etc from the US into a power outlet in Ukraine.
@raginasiangaming9105 жыл бұрын
I did notice that quality electronics in the Ukraine tend to be more expensive. However, the profit margins were generally not enough to overcome shipping. Voltage for American electronics are not usually an issue though as there are adapters that you can plug into that cost under $5. I know the voltage is different, but a decent laptop can handle it. I use my laptop all the time in Ukraine with no problems (though this is a cheap work laptop, I might be more careful with my gaming rig). I actually made a decent bit of money (maybe $150) bringing back Ukrainian clothes that I bought cheap in the villages and selling them in the USA. Unfortunately, because I was just messing around, all I had was one suitcase. Still, if $150 can be made from a suitcase, then I imagine that if I had a larger case or dedicated it to clothes, I could probably make $300-400 per trip, which pays for almost half the air fare. As a business, this might be profitable if you could buy bulk at low cost in Ukraine. Shipping for clothes would be much cheaper due to lower weight and the ability to fit items into smaller packages.
@TheRyan198045 жыл бұрын
this girl has no idea, the shipping and customs charges on the cars will kill any profit. Nevermind that no ukranian car dealer with half a brain is going to pay top dollar for a car in unknown condition from USA etc. Sure, it's flood damaged. Think about all the work that entails to repair. Electrical repairs, rust repairs , water in engine? Come on.
@Olga_Reznikova5 жыл бұрын
I have an idea, and even with taxes that car will cost cheaper. This is working business model now, I am not saying something out of my fantasy. Dealers are bringing cars under customer requests. Customers know what they are buying.
