Great video. Anything that can give an edge in making a kick/ball so opponent doesn't get ball in hand is a plus.

amazing that you studied and memorized all this!!

Thanks! This is actually just one of 25 patterns I've mapped like this. Got about half on video now and working on the rest.

Okay so I tried this, and it does work but I also tried spot on the wall. And luckily, for some strange reason there is a distinct marker in the distance for spot on the wall in my basement. Perhaps some other players have been used doing some funny business. Well I will say your system does work, I find the room for error when it comes to speed for this shot is much lower than your other shots. Say the double cross corner 0.7 pattern I am much more consistent with than this one. Further, when it does work it seems to be hitting the jaws of the pocket, and for whatever reason spot on the wall is scary, accurate in my basement. Like straight through the center of the corner pocket and very consistent. It also seems to be more power agnostic as I can hit that shot. Not really pay attention to power and it work. Yours does work but I'm hitting it much softer than what. Would consider medium speed, and it seems to hit the jaws of the pocket so I have made contact with the object ball but in certain cases scratched as well. Just my observations.

This is good feedback. Indeed speed is a sensitive thing, interesting that the "medium" speed for your table for "medium" track lines was quite slow. Keep in mind, that can change with the weather. Even so, what is often even more valuable than specific track lines is the awareness that all rail systems are greatly affected by speed. As far as a spot on the wall, it certainly can work. My spot used to be the T in my poolometry poster until I had to move it because my new camera had less of a lens width. The benefit of track lines is that they can work from any orientation, or even out in new locations with no walls nearby. I am working on converging the Sliding Spot system to multi rail patters, but the spot ends up way off the table and requires different and more sensitive alignment procedures.

Loved the Video, I see you have what appears to be an Olhausen. Do you notice this system playing different on Diamond rails?
@PoolandBilliards2 жыл бұрын
Yes, Olhausen, 8ft simonis 860hr. The only diamond I play on is a 7 ft, and limited time. But I had the table to myself for 20 minutes and intentionally tried many of my patterns, with success on all of them. I don't doubt that some tables play slightly differently, but I think the difference is less than people think. In general, the fast speed numbers are the most consistent from table to table, but some tables play shorter on the slow speed shots. You can see/feel the thud off the rail. If you have the chance, maybe you could test some shots out yourself and let me know to pass on your findings to others who ask. Especially my standard cross corner shot numbers.

I play league on long 7' diamond tables. We rotate tables so I've completed banks using your system by adding one to each number. In other words the system is consistent but play short using the original poolometry numbers. I've only used cross Corner and cross side so far. This is an excellent system but will take time to memorize and calibrate speeds. Seems that for the price of the system, very reasonable by the way, I've obtained knowledge that would have taken me years to learn on my own. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

The one rail shot charts work well for me playing diamonds, but I can't get this 3-rail anywhere close! Everything is super short and I can't seem to compensate. These tables are FAST and pretty worn though.
