Hi Coach! I've been stumbling across your videos more and more over recent months. And I have to say, your mechanics and explanations of EVERY DRILL I'VE watched has been complete GOLD. You are seriously a one-stop-shop for little league coaches who want to teach the fundamentals correctly the FIRST time. However, obviously ALL levels of players should be taking advantage of your explanations (after all - you can never practice enough). With that being said, my question is: 1) I COMPLETELY acknowledge that this is yet another "quick-feet" drill, so my query may be irrelevant as it may just be designed to get the feet moving; however 2) In this situation, ideally shouldn't the footwork be a quick "shuffle" back and forth, as opposed to the "cross-over" method that you're depicting? Again.. thank you SO much for the quality of your videos and instruction!

Coach do you have any thoughts/training tips about the 3rd baseman's positioning/training for a slowpitch league (8:2 men/women). The balls are almost always smoked to 3b side if not lifted to the air. Standing on the inside of the diamond exposes the risks of injury for 3rd baseman. Standing on the outer edge means almost impossible to get the runner. Any thoughts?
