I think you can substitute with coconut milk powder but it will have some coconut flavor

Oh l see u only use the cooked mung beans to make the moon cakes...no need to have ping pei skin or bake it like traditional mooncake making... In this method will the mung beans moon cakes crack while cutting the moon cakes taken out from the fridge ... please advise me my doubt here... THIS is first time l see mung bean moon cakes being made in this way... please teach me ur style of this only skinless .mung beans moon cakes ... thanks...

Mung bean already cooked when you steam and fry it. Easy to cut with nice sharp even you didn't keep in fridge
