Nice to see a post on John. I used to be a huge fan until his limited edition Ghost tele came out. Now all his guitars are prohibitively priced. He used to be about getting guitars into the hands of players. Not any more. So disappointing.

never thought much of him as a player and dont care for his tone. He’s extremely talented i just dont like his stuff even when he’s with david lee roth

I disagree that John is expressive. I think everything he lays sounds like a picking exercise. Very robotic.
